Very good game from Hobbs. He is a very exciting kid, I'm just trying to keep the lid on myself.

But VERY exciting talent.

Has got that ability to know where to be which is helping while he plays forward.
Means we have got someone that we don't need to hide when he's not in the midfield which is a problem for some of his team mates.

Very very solid start to the career so far and makes you excited for the mix when Perkins and he are rotating the midfield more often.

He’s actually very good at drawing footy on the lead as a hit up forward and he’s hitting the scoreboard, he’s very impressive in the role he’s in at the moment

Outside of Martin (thank God), who in living memory has been better in their first half dozen games than Hobbs?

He can do everything and accross 4 quarters. Getting busy utting senior 'leaders' to shame.

This bloke with long blonde almost dreads was pretty good when we drafted him. Played half back I think. Ended up captain of his football club for a bit too.

Decent player

Hurley was beating the likes of Tredrea from his first game.

McGrath likewise won the rising star and was winning matchups on the likes of Eddie Betts.

Would be bitterly disappointed if he doesn't get the Rising Star nomination this week for his body of work across the season so far.

Brandon Walker was close to Hobbs for supercoach points this round but Hobbs has a body of work to earn the nomination imho.
Stop using supercoach points as anything apart from how to win at supercoach please.

Agree, they always look like they come slightly off the side of his boot and float! Really happy with him though, showing a lot.
If he was anything close to an elite kick he would have gone pick 1. It's not that much of a concern for an inside mid and hopefully he'll improve it a little. Chances are though that if you've been playing footy all your life and your kicking is ok but not great, that's more or less how it will stay.
