I really enjoy Voss' press conferences.

Despite his Brisbane heroics, I feel like he's a Carlton man. He looks good in the navy blue, he's built his own system and game plan and has connected with the players immediately.

Had we got Clarko, I can't say I would've looked at him as 'ours'. Merely a great coach doing his job at a 2nd employer.

I'm very happy with the outcome.

Bloody brilliant four-quarter effort.

Needed to get a win against the odds before the reinforcements come back. Hopefully Weiters back in next week, Pitto the following.

Proud of this team.

Special shout out to Jack Newnes. A lot of the supporters might shit-can him but the way the players got around him speaks volumes. For mine he has been a very good servant since pulling on the navy blue.

Every clubs supporters on here complain about the umpires and how much they help the other team.....it's why people like me at our supporters complaining about the umpiring week in, week out....

Think we got our first few goals from free kicks if I'm not mistaken.....

you are mistaken.

I think his role now is perfect.

High forward who occasionally attends stoppages for that extra zip around the ball. It's catching the opposition off guard.

Turning him into a full time midfielder would, I assume, fatigue him quicker and reduce that ability to break games open. Plus he is creative forward of center.

He has found his spot. Excellent coaching.

Fisher always was, and is, an inside/outside mid....

We are the Navy Blues…
Love a win like this, we were written off, next man up, and the team says nah we are turning this around (I imagine the midfielders and forwards were called out for effort and system the last few weeks)

To keep the Teletubbies to 40 I50s is really great work from the team - I expect the defense are very appreciative

Hamill deserves plenty of credit for the back line efforts and resolve, particularly through all the injuries.

Noticed Voss referred to him in the press conference.
Was asked a question about him in the presser, along the lines.. “noticed Hammil talking to the defenders at quarter time, impressed with how he’s managed them with all the injuries”

Young has to be in the conversation for the most improved player in the comp surely?! Having fish play 30-40% midfield time is just so important as our mid group as outside of Walsh we lack fast feet and agility, something Fish has in spades and if he can play these sort of mid minutes regularly it just gives our midfield so much more balance.

TDK was enormous today, but coaches should also get some credit for the way they used him which was effectively playing a kick and a half behind the ball and getting back to help our defenders at various stages. I also ran into TDK’s old man before the game and he said big Tom was sore last week so this makes his efforts today even more impressive. Tom has never played this many games in a row and he’s doing a mighty job.

Had to go round my Nan's for her birthday this afternoon so had my phone off all day so no one could send me spoilers of the game.

Just finished watching the game now.

Massive win. Massive.

So proud of the boys for that one. Hopefully we can keep growing and getting into more form as we get players back leading into the back end of the year.

Walsh was un real. Was huge in that 2nd qtr when we turned the tide and took the real momentum.

Charlie is a star. Real match winner. Cant wait to see him in September.

Fish. Always loved this guy and love seeing him around the footy. Very handy mid rotation to have up our sleeve.

Doc and Saad are just beautiful half backs. Saad is a freak.

Haven't been a big cottrel fan but I'm coming around. He's finding a bit more of the ball and using it way better than he used to.

Durdin and SOS didn't have a ton of it but just love the aggression they have and their decision making.

Massive win. Love it. ❤:carlton:
