And every man and his dog, except Bev, could see that was clearly the wrong match up from ball 1.

In what world is Keath a better match up for Cameron and Gardner a better match up for Hawkins

Lighten up a bit doggies. Try to focus on our strengths every once in a while. You are one very intense dude  always mad about something. We are on the upswing and we just knocked off those entitles pricks from Mt Buller!

Hawkins only kicked 2 Keath has been shite all year

We didn’t have anyone mobile enough to go with Cameron. You play Gardiner on Cameron, he kicks a bag anyway and Hawkins gets the better of Keath.

Makes sense why we went those match ups.

Wouldn’t surprise to see a defensive handover when Cameron pushes up the field and one of Cordy/Gardiner take back when he’s deeper.

Possibly even Buku getting minutes to see how that’s works. Has the mobility and speed to at least stay close. Would have some confidence built up after last week as well.

Hopefully Keath is just rested as last week's game was not the one to drop him on.
Think he's really struggling to move. Saw him at Alfa a few weeks ago and he looked like an arthritic old man waddling around.
Disagree Mike. I thought his game last week was his worst for a while, seemed a mile off the pace and fell over a lot.

The media head-scratching over the Keath resting is perplexing.

it's as if they haven't actually watched him since he came back.

He's been looking sore as of late and the rest was needed IMO

Hannan to Cameron! Get it done Bev!

Not the worst idea.

Cameron gets on top by working up and down the ground getting seperation on his opponent’s. You almost have to play a tagging role on him.

Hannan’s probably better suited to that role than anyone else down there. Would need to keep focus more than he normally does, but that would go for anyone playing on Cameron. He’s also the player that offers the least offensively of the non keys, so is expendable in that regard.

Will be interesting to see how the Cameron match up plays out.

Not a fan, but O'Brien actually did quite well when moved on to him. Most of the damage was done on Keath and Gardner had a goal kicked on him in the last qtr from memory.

thank goodness i dont have to watch Keath this week,

what a great statement by match committee that despite past performance you simply cant stink it up as often as Keath has
Harsh - looks like he has been carrying an injury

You guys realise Cameron kicked 6 on Keath last time right?
Keath and Gardner both spent time on Cameron and Hawkins, the matchup wasn't the same all game and we looked a lot better when Gardner was on Cameron and Keath was on Hawkins.

From the outside McComb and Hannan seem to be favourites. Although we should look into it more thoroughly. Is it their body strength? Are they better trainers?Do they follow instructions better? Or is it purely positional.
Imagine the coach has his reasons.
He won't share tactical information, that is fair enough.
We play to a system. And Bevo mostly gets it right.
Please beat Geelong

Not a McComb fan, his skills are atrocious.
There's no doubt however that McComb is harder at it than some of the other more skilful fringe players, perhaps Bevo is just preparing the soldiers he wants to play finals football.

One thing you have to give McComb is that his AFL performance trend line is upwards. Has consistently improved his performances each game (although wasn't hard to improve on his first ones 😅).

He is hard at the contest. However, my problem is you rarely see him win one. His tackling is also substandard.
