I would like to see this after every point Geelong kick, but with Bailey Dale playing the role of Lindsay Gilbee.

Looking at those highlights last time we beat them down there Brad Johnson was such a weapon.

Also have talked myself into Cordy, did the job in the prelim, just can’t be relied upon week to week. Watch Bevo surprise us all and send Naughty to Hawk.

Not sure why the McComb hate. He's improving and didn't put a foot wrong when he came in as the sub last round when the game was on the line.
Why did McNeil get dropped? McLean has been in good form. Heck even Hunter.

The guy has literally played about a half of footy in a month. There’s no reason he should be getting picked ahead of guys with actual form lines. It’s playing favourites again for no reason. Is this worthy of a call up?

Round 16 - Dropped
Round 17 - Came on as sub after half time
Round 18 - Didn’t play at any level
Round 19 - 10 minutes as sub.

I’m not the biggest Cordy fan, but Cordy for Keath is is a good selection.

Keath’s form hasn’t been the best unfortunately, and there must be some concerns regarding his longevity. Taking a guy from another professional sport always meant he more than likely had a short shelf life, but I really hope we can get another year out of him.

I saw us beat Geelong at Kardinia 20 years ago back in 2002 during my first visit back to Melbourne. At least I have my memories.

Any chance you recall what your lucky meal was?

Really worried about our defence against the strongest one two key forward punch in the League. I’m hoping we have an edge in the ruck with big Timmy and our midfield can capitalise on that. We need another huge game from the Bont and Libba and if we can take our chances like last week we might be a sneaky chance. Good to have Caleb back, sad to lose Ads, hopefully Cordy and Gards can just manage to not get slaughtered. Gards was really good last week and I haven’t been a supporter of his but he was alright, Ed Richards was awesome as well, so we do have some good defenders, we get let down by the team defensive system and the bullshit dropping off the mark strategy which just allows quick ball movement into the 50.

Not that happy about McComb, he tries hard, you can never question that, but he generally turns it over way too much for me. Still not sure what Bevo sees in him, but I hope he plays well, we will need everyone to be at their best if we are to have a chance down at Geelong.

Based on the VFL Reports, Cordy had a couple of strong performances in a row. Keath has been struggling with that strapped up thigh for 2 weeks, so even though he found some marking form, would resting him a week and the vfl next week could be worth a shot. If he plays vfl this week then I dunno.

Cameron and Hawkins are scary enough with no Keath. I thought Keath was at least solid on Hawkins last time. Hawkins got a hold of Gardner early and Cameron was too good for all the match ups we tried.

I say we will have the game won by 8.45pm
Remember a year or two ago...we were smashing Geelong kicking a bag and even kept them scoreless for ages. Then we stopped and they somehow overran us...😭. Not calling it that early no matter how far in front we are

I can’t see any way Cordy lines up on Hawkins. He is 11kgs lighter.

It will be Gardner on Hawkins again I reckon
Keath hasn’t been in great form but I’m not sure this was the week to drop him.
At least he has the physical dimensions to play on Hawkins.

Gardner is much more suited to play on a Cameron type (I suspect he will as he has done so in the past) and Cordy to Hawkins. It could be an absolute bloodbath. It’s setting Cordy up to fail.

If Keath is injured and Gardner is unsuited (or is the best matchup for Cameron) who else could take on Hawkins apart from Cordy? Please don’t say Bruce or Naughton.

Anyway…
Isn’t one of the main reasons we have a zone defence so that no single player has to compete one on one all game with a dominant forward? Isn’t that the justification for going into the season with only Keath, Gardner and Cordy as KPDs on our list?

Nullifying these two juggernauts will be up to the entire defence. Plus the midfield to limit supply. Plus the forwards to prevent easy rebounds from our f50 entries.

thank goodness i dont have to watch Keath this week,

what a great statement by match committee that despite past performance you simply cant stink it up as often as Keath has
