I come in peace
Given the comments above about needing another inside mid how would trading out ure Pick 19 for Tom Mitchell and our 3rd round pick and we pay all of his contract in 2023 sit with you all?
Will this be preferable or would u prefer trading pick 10 for Hopper or Taranto and paying all of their contract moving forward ?
Only way mitchell would be of interest to Richmond is if his contract was finished and happy to play for $400k with a nothing trade like Hodge/Mitchell
No chance to get a pick #19 for mitchell even with no salary. The Boat has sailed

End of 2023 his contract ends and free agent

* But wait a minute , Could we interest you in Jason Castagna as a swap

Getting Fogarty would spell curtains for Jack. No way you could play both. Too slow, and would play the same role.

He's of interest to us. Required player.

There's some chance. Walker gets an extension, they're invested in Thilthorpe, and they have Gollant and Himmelberg. I feel one of Himmelberg or Fogarty will leave, whichever one, we should be into.

Pick 19 for a 30-year-old crab. Pass.
I think it would work. Brisbane play three talls, Geesook basically play three talls too

a pick that will end up being 21 after father son nga isn’t that early and somewhat speculative. In my hypothetical we will take his full contract so u get him for free in 2023 and can use the money on other players to fill ure list. It has some merit.. just a thought all good
The full wage payment by the hawks certainly makes worthy of a thought but we could get crouch for basically free to play the same role and use pick 19 on another kid.

Welcome in here anytime mate, and it's definitely worth throwing his name in the ring. But as others have said, at 30 y.o. Mitchell doesn't fit the profile of what we're looking for as a long-term inside mid, let alone at such a high draft cost.

And like Matt Crouch who's name has also been thrown around by Crows supporters in here, Mitchell's game style is also at odds with how Richmond want to quickly move the ball. He'd be a pretty solid "non" from me

Any player that we'd want from the Hawks would be ones that you'd be unwilling to part with.

God I hope the Paddy Dow rumours aren’t true - absolute spud!

Saw him badly squib a marking contest today too
