If they play like that against the Hawks in Tassie they’ll lose, which is a plus.

We have two chances at cementing our spot with a win, which is another plus.
The Hawks game is the one I thought was 50/50 anyway. Thought they'd take care of GWS a bit easier than that, so the lack of percentage boost is a bonus.

You gotta laugh at us having a go at GWS players … they’ve put on a much better performance with nothing to play for than our players have done in the last few weeks with everything to play for …

Yeah it's a bit weird.

TBH I thought I'd stumbled into the Carlton autopsy thread about 6 hours from now....

Bulldogs struggled to win convincingly at home against the Giants, they won't beat the Hawks next week.
Hawks in Tassie are always tough to beat and it just depends how deep they have put the Cue in the rack as Jiath has been sent for surgery and 1 other player as well maybe Moore I am not sure.

just say plainly what you're trying to say?

It seems Everyone is on the band wagon that we are going to lose both our remaining games yet Tigers could lose theirs too so why are they riding that we are going to lose when tigers are below us on the ladder meaning if bulldogs win both they take their spot.

I hope we come out tonight and roll the dees and put it all to bed.

I've never seen a player generate so much run yet do so little with it as Nick Haynes. His numbers always look so fantastic yet he runs himself into trouble or finishes it with a nothing kick 99% of the time. That play towards the end of the 4th quarter could've finished the Dogs off instead it ended as it so often does with him with a nothing or negative result.

That was the one that the Dogs had to lose. Hawthorn has already put the cue in the rack by sending players off for surgery.

But as most of us have said, we get in on our own accord or we don't deserve to be there. If you want to play finals you need to beat the teams there. Win one of our last 3 and we make it. Lose and it's doubtful we'd do anything when we got there.

Tigers dropping both would be sensational but they have an easier run.

It is in our hands and hopefully we can get a win tonight and come out switched on.

Don’t underestimate Mitchell wanting a win to finish the year. But really it’s in our hands

They have Hawthorn and Essendon. Not walk up wins, but a lot easier than playing two teams in the top 4.

Hawks have won 4 out of their last 5 and only lost to the Saints by 2 goals in between. The form is good and they are playing in Tassie. I'd say it is a 45-55 chance.

If we get Kennedy back next week we can roll the Pies. Hewitt would be lovely as well but I reckon he is done.

Surely the Pies don’t get lucky again considering we lost Jacob early which screwed us and our structure last we met.

Tonight I am not as confident getting the Demons off a loss and we will need to be totally on everywhere to beat them. Harry and Charlie need massive games like 10 goals between them and hope we break even out the middle. 🤞

I'd normally agree with this except for what the Hawks did this week in sending Jiath and Lewis to season ending surgery.

Jiath wasn't even listed on their injury list that they submitted to the AFL.

I can understand Lewis as he was listed as a test for the knee and failing a test was straight to surgery but Jiath?
