But as Ant555 has pointed out, the last 4 coaches have been very simular in lacking the ability to sell a defensive gameplan.

We probably don't really have the players to do it. But also of concern was that he pointed out the attitude of Parish behind the scenes a little. Maybe Rutten wasn't right but there was more issues far deeper then just Rutten or any single coach.

I think recruiting has a lot to answer
Team defence requires competitiveness. You have to want to win so much you're prepared to do the unrewarded running in the hope it helps the team.
Who does that for us?
Part of it is coaching, but you gotta draft that mentality in and have it a common trait across the list
