We have an independent panel to select the best candidate available. Let them do their job.
The rest of the hysteria is simply that.
The worst case would be to select another candidate because of this hysteria and have to go through the whole process again in 2 - 3 years because we made the wrong decision.
What is being put out there atm is pure emotional arguments. Clarkson's appointment hasn't been called "looking for the saviour". Neither did they get criticised for not going through a process.
As much as i dislike Robert Walls. I do believe his integrity
