I think our club needs to ensure that hawthorn and the individuals involved are treated as harshly as our players and officials were otherwise we re a spineless, subservient football club who are irrelevant in 2022 and beyond.
‘I would argue that if these allegations if true then draft penalties and suspensions to officials and players would be a STARTING POINT to what the club and the individuals receive.
our punishment would set a macabre benchmark.
I cannot see how Clarkson and fagan survive this if allegations are true.
Caro does not go for the jugular tonight bomber supporters should do everything possible to end her career because I do not believe she was balanced in her reporting towards us and the individuals involved
I don’t know about draft penalties because it’s away from performance. But if true it’s definitely under bringing the game into disrepute and governance, which is what they got hird and co with, so everyone get their right whack unless they hit them with a wet lettuce leaf.

The draft penalties we were hit with were for bringing the game into disrepute, so if they get stuck with that it is absolutely a possibility that Hawthorn are hit with them.

Essendon couldn't possibly hire Yze until the AFL investigation is complete, where does this leave us? We can't wait weeks, possibly months for the investigation to be completed. Hird doing a Bradbury

wait so what action do the Essendon players make next time they see Sam Mitchell?

I wish this was not as serious so we can take the piss, but this is of utter seriousness that i dont think you can.

How about the club just keeps it’s mouth shut and let their saga play out.

I don’t think we get involved unless hawthorn don’t get their absolute right whack
How about the club stands up for itself and the players who were treated unjustly?
my fear is Clarkson will be treated with more leniency than hird
if awfulthorn are not punished for bringing the game into disrepute then our club should go NUCLEAR

Could you picture the media outcry if Essendon went up to the AFL and had a sook about a lack of a punishment?

Sometimes it’s just best to stand to the side and watch the car crash from afar.

Really? I think you grossly overestimate what our role in this should be which is as little as possible.
I agree,Our role is non existent unless hawthorn are not treated with the same heavy handedness that we were.
i would argue that if true, clarkson’s negligence is worse than Hirds.
however I fear clarksons relationship with the afl will afford him leniency even if guilty
i would rather our club be combative and stand up for past and present players than have a board full of Kurt van houtens

Who cares we were pulverised even though the Proof would not pass a court of law

Oh. You're still thinking it was this.
Yes our players were treated unjustly
if you want to argue that I will vicerate you.
‘however I don’t reckon anyone needs that stuff dredged up
there are some great books on the fiasco- can I suggest you read them?
i believe dank and Robinson were absolutely at fault
i believe hird, the club and coaches were negligent in their duty of care but……………
I believe the players were treated unjustly
i have no interest in dredging up the past but I do feel what is good for the goose is good for the Clarkson/ fagan/ awfulthorn

ps I have consistently stated that hird should not be our next coach and am not one eyed on the matter however I reckon the bombers were treated harshly

Yes. Very unfair they were complicit in receiving injections. Zaharakis somehow managed not to be though.

The club absolutely failed the players though, undoubtedly.

But CAS is a real court of law, the panel at CAS is made up of real legal people (Judges, Attorneys, Barristers etc...) and the decisions they make are appealed to the Supreme Court of Switzerland, which is again, a legal entity.

Is receiving injections breaking any laws
please stop you are embarrassing yourself
players receive injections during games all the time- they trust the doctors to put legal substances in the needles
zaharakis did not believe in the injection program which was his absolute right- and ended up being a wise decision
perhaps you need to join another ex bomber poster and barrack for the swans

Vitamin injections are also a big thing.
