I love the look the Chad gives opponents when they start chasing him. Looks over his shoulder in a kind of good luck mate - catch me if you can kinda look.

Well Holmes out is handy, eliminates a bit of their pace between the flanks. If o connor comes in wonder if he’ll do a tagging role, mostly likely Blicavs will and he’ll play a lockdown defender role.

Can’t agree we want our best users actually being offensive. Cats would love it if Warner is the one tagging one less kid that can hurt them. Much rather put Rowbottom or Mills on Dangerfield
You realise that if Warner's tagged he's not gonna get much chance to be offensive anyway? So he might as well take his opponent out of the game too. It's what he did against the Dees. Brayshaw went to him but by about half way through the second quarter, Warner was actually putting time into Brayshaw.

It allows others like Mills and Rowbottom, and they are the two we need firing most. As good as Warner is, those two are our most valuable as they can win that clean first touch in the clinches rather than needing it fed out to them.

We can win if Warner has a quiet day, not sure we can win if Mills and Rowbottom have quiet days.

Holmes out is a very good move by Geelong. Not taking any risks as it would have been a big one. O’Connor has plenty of pace himself.

Let’s hope our gamble on injuries pays off however. Different injuries so can’t really compare the risk factor.

You also have to remember you can jab an adductor if need be. You can’t with a hammy

I get that but Warner is our most dynamic mid I’d rather back him to break his tag assuming OConnor comes in.

Plus I want my Normie bet thank you

I sit somewhere in the middle of the "this is a free hit"/"this could be our last chance" attitudes.

I am comforted by my confidence that we will absolutely be in the hunt for the next several years, and this is only the beginning of a premiership window for us.

On the other hand, this could be the best chance we get in that window. Not very often you go into a GF off 9 straight wins with an incredibly balanced and settled team against an opponent you stack up well against.

So I hope our boys really relish the opportunity they've got. Just that attitude alone can give them a great foot in the game.

Horse will know this all too well and will get that message across to the boys I'm sure.

Station by station the nerves are building. I’ve come to the realisation that it’s not just the win though. My mum who is with me hasn’t been to one of our winning GF’s yet. I want this more for her than me.

Bring the pressure from beginning to end and we will win.

In 12 hours I'll either be over the moon or depressed eating my box of half eaten pastries.

It’s funny that the things we celebrate with will be the things we drown our sorrows in. I hope my beers are enjoyed while watching all of the interviews and highlights and not to numb the misery

If he breaks his tag then good for him (and good for us), I just don't think it's as vital for our game that he excels in the middle as it is that Mills and Rowbottom do.

Think Rowbottom or Mills go to danger pretty obvious matchup probably Mills who can follow him forward as he’s played plenty of defence anyway. Rowy head to head against Cam Guthrie.
