Anyway Richmond and GWS can tell the AFL to F off and just get the job done. Hasn’t it basically been agreed in spirit since Thursday or Friday last week? Why do they have to wait until the last hour or two tomorrow?

I mean even Grundy to Melbourne got done this afternoon. :(

Maybe Soldo doesn’t want to go there?

Zero news about this deal at all today tells me it's done and they've been told to hold off for this dumb hype s**t at the end of the deadline.

Otherwise would've heard it's stalled out
It’s effing bullshit. I’m so sick of the AFL and their need for bloody drama and it’s almost always at our expense!

He mentions the final in the first 50 seconds. I couldn't watch more than that though lol
yeah and then said we didnt play finals twice after it and sos said we missed finals 😂

I am getting the feeling Soldo doesn't want to go. That's the only reason why this deal hasnt been done yet. I dont buy into the whole "The AFL want to leave some trades for the last hour" crap.

It's now been a week since this trade was first suggested. I reckon we have just parked the trade and will leave it to the last minute to try and get GWS to accept just the original offer of 1st round next year and pick 31.

Bowes and 7 for Cats future 3rd. Madness.
you may hate the cats,

But effectively, they use that #7 to get the Geelong Falcons kid they want, and what they have done is get the top end kid they want, straight off a premiership for $1.6m and a future 3rd

Shrewd business, but good business IMO

Yep. Very shrewd, but how the AFL ticked this one off is bewildering.
Not a dig at the Cats, but the system.
