Needs to spend the entire off-season rehabbing and getting that groin fit.

Always seems to be pushing himself to get back early and it hasn’t worked the last few years.

Just turned 29, still has some quality football in him should he get a good run at it.
He will lift the cup. The man is driven.

If there was someone who could do the stats I have a feeling our winning percentage would show as being much better with Tay in the side than without him.
In the last 2 years, our record with Adams has been 16-16. Without him, 7-8.

Geelong showed anything this year it's how to manage older players they did it brilliantly.

I’m someone with the slows on him currently. I doubt he’s been fit since 2020 and I’m not sure we’ll ever see him fully fit again based on his comments about his groin late year. He’ll have a limited preparation and has limited flexibility in his game because of his ball use. It’s not a recipe for success in modern footy.

As we stand he’s not in my best Collingwood midfield group so will take a back seat when he returns and if he’s competing with Hill/ Elliott/ Ginnivan/ McReery for a small forward spot it’s a no from me (he’s even less chance down back). I’m not expecting much from him until 2024.

Hmmmm. Adams record stands at 78-2-72 (51.3% W rate). Club 105-2-97 (51.4% W rate) since he arrived at the club.

i have a feeling titch is a better player than adams, at least from this point forward
They will compliment one another.

Nobody does what Adams does for our team. Not even Mitchell. But in any case, I reckon Mitchell's presence will only help Adams prolong his career. Ease the pressure that gets placed on him.

We keep saying Adams needs help, and now he has it. Its not displace of him, but more with him.

I hope so too!

By Adam Cooney's logic, if St Kilda had the opportunity to bring in Ben King, they shouldn't because they already have Max.

How has he been training?

Pretty strongly, it's like you wouldn't believe he did a serious groin injury in september. They have held him back pre-christmas, but he is moving as well as he ever had. So fingers crossed it can be sustained.

Love this thanks, hopefully ease him in on the forward flank.
