Do you still have to pre-book seats? I though that with the membership cards being brought back that we didn't have to go through all that crap anymore? Just scan at the gate and go to any empty GA seat?

Nup, don't think they work still. Have to book tickets. It will keep fans away IMO. Adds an extra pain in the arse factor.

I'd rather Owens, caminettis or Cordys output as options. They are far more game and mobile when not in the ruck. Campbell is a good back up, but he is a plain ruckman, not a forward/ruck. You're robbing Peter to pay Paul. Just concede the hit outs for 5 mins but have a superior ground level fleet to nulillifh the advantage some what. Same as what Battle did to GwS last year

Cordy's output?? Surely taking the piss

I like it but wouldn't have both of Stocker and Byrnes in there with no forward rotation.

B Webster Howard Wilkie
HB Nas Battle Sinclair
C Hill Steele Wood
HF Higgins Owens Phillipou
F Butler Cimanti Titanic
R Marshall Crouch Bytel
I/C Clark Cordy Paton Byrnes
No Gresh?

Dont think my take on team will be much different to those mentioned. I am assuming we will not see Membrey, Ross or Windy Rd1.

Imagine it will ultimately come down to who is the sub out of Byrnes, Stocker and Paton.
I think Byrnes is most suited to the role as has a bit of speed and energy to bring into the game but seems to be in favour with RTB so I reckon it could end up being Paton.

I really looking forward to seeing Bytel play , the guy has suffered injuries that has derailed his career from the start and if he can stay on the park he has the size and talent to really to be something special , with slim down versions of Steele and Crouch , Bytel could easily be our midfield enforcer if given a crack.
Looking at Crouch , he looks to be the thinnest he has ever been and Steele the same - however in Steele's case it might open him up to injury knowing he is a tackling beast and that bit of weight that is now missing might be missed.

Looks like the Dockers may have a few injury concerns. O'Meara, Cox and Ryan sore.

Biggest problem with Freo is the same as it always is and that’s Fyfe. First game against Freo he doesn’t play and we win, second game is going ok until he goes into the middle and everything changes. There’s also something like a 35 disposal 3 goal game with Steele tagging him, we’ve never had a matchup for him and I still don’t think we do.

I don't think that they are miles in front of us to be honest. If we can perform evenly instead of our flaky mixed bag stuff, we are a good chance here. It's always hard to go interstate and win. They are a pretty young side too. Fyfe should be more manageable with our current set up.

When we lost in round 17 last year we were missing Howard and had a makeshift defence with Joyce on Lobb, Highmore playing and Windy having only 7 touches. Looks like Ryder went down too, only had 5 disposals. Looks like we won the midfield but couldn't score from more inside 50s and our defence leaked like a sieve.

I think that was the “end of Joyce” game as well, he was awful. But my point is we still had all of those things and they were all going fine up until half time then Fyfe goes into the middle and the whole game changes. I don’t think they’re miles ahead of us but if it’s close you just know he’s going to take the game from us.

Yeah I think with all the injuries these last few years it's easy to forget how bloody good he is. If he's fully fit this year Freo will do a lot better than is being predicted, he'll be a huge handful up forward and we know what he can do in the middle. He's a bit like a new recruit for them with how little he's played lately.

I'm guessing he'll play mainly forward against us, personally I'd go with Wilkie as the matchup, can't really see who else is suitable.

More concerned about who gets on the park from our team than Fyfe really.
Think we are sweating on Ross and Windy. Members won’t get there.
Looks like it might be Bytel’s big opportunity. Hope he makes the most of it.
Hammerniti should be a Smokey for rising star if he gets the nod.

i'd go with:

B Webster Howard Wilkie
HB Nas Battle Sinclair
C Hill Steele Wood
HF Higgins Owens Phillipou
F Butler Cordy Cimanti
R Marshall Crouch Bytel
I/C Clark Stoker Paton Byrnes

if these are the outs:
King
Membery
Ross
Jones
Billing’s
Windhager
Hayes

i'd go with:

B Webster Howard Wilkie
HB Nas Battle Sinclair
C Hill Steele Wood
HF Higgins Cordy Owens
F Butler Caminiti (The Hammer) Gresham
R Marshall Crouch Bytel
I/C Clark

I/C Clark Phillipou Stoker and then one of Paton/Byrnes

I actually really do not want to go Cordy, but we do not really have an option unless they go for Campbell if he is fit.
Personally I like Sharman as an in, but he seems on the outer with our coaches.

Wiithout King the coaches seem to want an option who can compete and bring the ball to ground if they do not mark it. And Cordy is a bigger unit than Sharman. And it gives The Hammer the edge over Sharman as The Hammer is both bigger and is also more of a contested marking player.

With Sharman too he is also now competing with booth Owens and The Poo as both of those players are also forward "third-tallish" marking players.
