Much debate over what Jade Gresham's best position is, is it as a forward, is it as a midfielder, etc. Personally I thought he was best as science officer and first officer of the USS Enterprise.

Deadset Danger game next week..We can't seriously lose to that Scumthorn side surely
They have a lot of good kids and if we know anything about good kids it's that if things click for them on the day then they can be dangerous. If we prepare for their best then we should win comfortably.

Geez what a rubbish performance from Freo

They've had 4 extra men all game too

They'll still be good this year IMO.

Good for us that some of these dangerous sides are having early losses.

As long as we do not drop the games we usually do...

You're one of those perfectionist types aren't you ;)

Look, you write one preview for what should have been a gimme and then you get done...

Asides, that loss by Freo is even more embarrassing:

Freo are soo shit. They have zero attack. Fyfe is their one big fwd hope apparently. Scoreboard pressure gets to them big time. Good revenge game for Ross the boss.

Fyfe looks so cooked. Freo played better without him last season

Geez, that wound up being a good round of footy in terms of results. Pretty much every single game went the way I would have preferred - I wouldn't change a thing, starting with the perfect draw. The actual footy left something to be desired in a few cases, but it is only round 1.

All those posts about GWS didn't age well. That was a superb victory that showed huge character! What about Hayne's kick for goal from 45 when he could barely walk! Personally I'm not into death-riding the Giants - they don't threaten me.

Interesting that all the "new" coaches - Clarko, Ross, Brad Scott and Kingsley - all got wins. Is that like the bounce for a caretaker coach or is because new teams haven't figured out their gamestyle yet or is it just a fluke?

Why is Carlton in front of Richmond on the ladder? Is it alphabetical? (I realise one of them has to go first.)

Loving that the Dons crushed the Hawks. 1. It's excellent to see the Hawks languishing - long may it continue. 2. It's fantastic as part of the campaign for the Hawks to get the spoon and give us the first pick of the second round (which is pretty much as good as a late first rounder), plus another pick just about inside 40. 3. It takes a little bit of attention away from us, which suits me just fine.
