Nick's didn't outwit Kenny. He's the same moron as Hinkley. They just worked harder for longer.

And they're fitter.

We've gone the North Melbourne approach on everything and now we can't even work harder for longer. Which is all Ken has.

Nicks changed their approach to short, quick kick-mark from the d50 in the second half - they didn’t bomb anything long - and they just picked us apart.
Ken did nothing to respond.


Kenny also started Jonas on Rankine and had no one picking up Dawson when he pushed into the contest.

He was thoroughly outcoached. Don’t get me wrong, Nicks is a shit coach, the point is even he is a smarter tactician than our Ken.

No my estimation of butters has been negative for awhile.
His only saving grace ATM is hinkley if the coach has no idea I don't think the players will have either.
Even if we get a new coach some of these players are just plain lazy and incompetent. They will start looking at each other and we will see players no longer wanting to stay.
When you stink the place up like kochandhinkley has people will want to get out.

I mentioned it in the game day thread but essentially there was and is no excuse for that.

• smashed last week so not tired and needed to redeem ourselves
• showdown, always a reason to be up
• finals and flag still to play for
• coach and many players in final seasons
• this game killed us last year
• crows, have had two hard games and, to be honest, don’t have a great list but work hard and are fit
• got the PBs (who cares)
• home game

Pumped by 4 goals and beaten in contested possession.

I’m not going to bother with a player by player review. It’s simple, the coaches and players didn’t want it enough. We are talented, but soft, unfit, disorganised and disinterested. With the exception of Dixon, SPP, JHF and maybe Drew and Rozee (although I feel like Connor is better than what we saw) - effort, the only non negotiable and factor that you can always control, was absent. That’s two weeks in a row.

I’ll be generous and give us wins over the eagles, Hawks, Kangas and dons. Makes 5-10 at the bye. And, to be honest, we are fifty fifty at best against the kangas and Dons. On what I have seen these first three weeks, the season is done. We desperately needed this to be a finals chance.

Nah, this is the club that re-signed him after 2 failed years and an elimination final loss, this is the club who has put up with him for 11 years and no GF. This is the club who said GF or bust last year and did nothing when we didn’t make the 8.
