Good that we are winning all the gettable games now, our run home from about round 18 onwards is scary starting with Melbourne at the MCG!
Melbourne should be scared of us. We pulled their pants down last time we played them in the finals and we will do it again .

I actually think they are making a bigger difference on the defensive side. Both use their speed to push back incredibly hard on turnover. At one point tonight, McKenna sprinted about 80 metres following a turnover and manages to affect a contest inside defensive 50. Last year, we didn't really have that sort of ground coverage down back.

Having Sharp and Berry doing the same from the wings have been the cherry on top. Defensive transition has been really good. Even when it is slightly off (would say tonight wasn't at our best) it was still very good just due to guys making repeat efforts. The Sun's didn't even kick 70 points.
100% on all this, our defensive running has been impressive to say the least.

Also I thought Harry Sharp was good last night, he can gut run but he is also deceptively quick running back... as well as forward to provide an option, he has steadily improved with each game, I actually contemplated giving him a Fab 5 vote, I was also very impressed with Hipwood's pressure inside F50 and up to the wings, he laid a couple of incredible ball and all tackles.

In the end I went with Daniher, Ashcroft, McCluggage, Neale and Wilmot.

How was Coleman's kick out to Daniher in the first quarter? Wowee!!! More of that please!!!
Brisbane looked so good coming out of defence, McKenna and Paine provide very attacking kicks we didn't have last year.
McKenna did an amazing kick as well out of congestion to a player on the defensive side of the centre square, I said to my son WOW! who was that.

FYI Payne not Paine... please... Jackson was delisted years ago and:think:the former Test cricket captain has retired.

Really enjoyed that game
Thought we had some first class handball chains in our transitions.
No crap handballs to the feet.
As already said so many good games from multiple players
Motty ,ash,Joey and Lincoln were some to mention
Ash and Lincoln were impacting all over the park.
Little disappointed with the Gold Coast turnout thought there would be more support
Although when they make finals should spark some up. Glad we won that one,but will be barracking for them when not against us.
Did anyone else think they stuffed the goal songs up
Bailey also had am I ever gonna see your face again and hippie first goal was just the music then his second was back to am I ever ,again
Thought it was louder as well
Awesome loved it.

Our mids were on top most of the game and smashed them in the last quarter when it really mattered.

Joe again a standout so voting was relatively easy for me for a change.

Neale (BOG), Clug, Ashcroft, Dunkley and Joe with deepest apologies to Wilmot .

As another contributor remarked, 6 into 5 doesn't go.

Looks like i'm copping an Elixah ban too:'(
Ha ha , I left Dunkley out to vote for Wilmot . He deserved votes .

Yes there were not many Suns fans there although it was pleasing to see them walking out early, same as when the Blues fans walked out of Marvel at the end of the 3rd quarter in round 8. We have come a long long way since Messiah Fagan took the reins.

On the Q Clash, it is Meh for me, I look forward to going to games against the likes of Bombers, Pies, Blues and the big interstate clubs if they're up and about on the ladder ie. Swans, Crows, Eagles so much more than a Suns game.

Who's idea was it to let the Suns bring there merchandise caravan and park it on the Gabba front lawn and do business? It's meant to be the our fortress.

Great to see the crowd get stuck into Holman, after his wrestling match with Prince Charming. The crowd boo-ed, like they should, every time he went near the ball, especially when the camera zoomed in on him when the bench. Even better to watch Starcevich come steaming to lend a hand.

It was a fun night for us supporters
The booing was done in a fun way
Hope the boo haters of the world see it that way as well.

We keep winning in different ways while not playing full games at our best, these are all really good signs. We are in this year up to our eyeballs.

Was also happy to see the Suns improving, hope it continues.

I'm the opposite re suns fans. Good on them. Not easy supporting a team with that history and being part of the smallest fan base. Respect.

Where was the incident?, I didn't see it on coverage. Did Holman lay a big tackle on Ash?

I dont mind the booing if they did something and it is warranted and it stops at that game. The continued, targeted booing over multiple games that some players get is not on.

Agree... I just love seeing any opposition fans leaving early and Suns fans cramming on the early train to Nerang station... the whole dozen of them.;)

- Joe Daniher I always had this caveat that he could be a bit lackadaisical or just spray his set shots, and I was fine with that, I liked what else he brought. But wow, his form this year is scintillating stuff. Aggressive in the ruck, defensive pressure up the wazoo and slotting goals everywhere, both in play and setshots.

- Not much to say about Dunkley, what a great pickup. Controls his opponent and hurts them in attack with his own ball. When he finally gets his first Lions goal then, and only then will I be truly happy ;)

- Charles kept his feet tonight which was a big turnaround from last week. McGrath played on him well but Charles just kept overrunning his feet and falling down.. Tonight that goal of his showcased when he is on his feet can keep up with his brain :p A treat to watch.

gotta watch some vision of the Ashcroft biff. Did his hair stand up to all of that aggro? The important questions must be asked
