Gold Coast are disappointing. For a team that needs to take that next step, they always seem to stagnate on the ladder around a similar position. They will beat a couple of good sides, but fail to back it up in other games. Rinse and Repeat each season. Makes our loss to them feel even worse.

That being said, Collingwood are a good side and are playing near flawlessly in this game so far. Not doing much wrong at all, and very clean with their movement. If they play the same way next week with our poor defending of coast to coast movement, it could get ugly. Wouldn't mind seeing them win the flag compared to the other sides around them.

How port defenders get away with playing their opponents from behind and then errrr, manoeuvring them forward shits me no end.

I could not believe the Bombers, they hit the front with 1.31 to go and instead of playing possession football go all out to kick another goal in wet conditions.

On another note, Port not that good at the G and in the wet, a better team than the Bombers would have beaten them.

Belief, the more they win the more they believe they are better than the rest. A lot of improvement in a few young players. I hope it will be a Collingwood v Port GF, if we don’t get there. Stuff Melbourne and Bris Vegas.

I think we need Jones nearly as much. It might show on Friday night how much we miss him? Long term JOD looks like he’ll have a 10 year/200 game career in him.
