When should testing be mandatory? The Aliir clash seems an obvious one but not all head clashes result in immediate concussion prognosis. Some head knocks seem innocuous at the time. Hickey missed a game because of a delayed concussion. Seems a fine line in making things mandatory.I'm still stunned that testing isn't mandatory!
All the BS that spews from the AFL about how sacrosanct the head is, and testing after a head knock isn't mandatory
Yeah, you're really big on brain health AFL
Parker was suspended for a tackle on Walsh that could have caused a concussion type injury. Walsh played out the game and didn’t have concussion. So the AFL have made progress in trying to negate concussion type issues in player’s behaviour. They need a little more work with the clubs. The Port doctor has already admitted he made a mistake with Aliir in not doing the test.
