Nah, that was a train wreck of a game. If we lose to the Eagles we deserve the embarrassment.
imo that would have been the worst result, helps Eagles avoid spoon but still helps Essendon stay in front of us.

For all the joking about how bad the eagles are they won’t be long bouncing back up the ladder too… they just don’t hang around too long down there.
If we lose next week to them it will say an awful lot about the mentality of our club.
If the roles were reversed and we were in their situation and vise versa - they would come out next week and beat us by 100 points. No question about it.
Grind our noses into the mud with no remorse. They did it enough times from 16-21 remember?
We need to do the same. I want to see us monster these kids next week. Leave mental scars that won’t heal for several years on them

Of course, there’s that but - the team walks taller when he is in the team….
Aggression with control and a some attitude is what we have lacked for sometime- let’s call unsociable…
Yeah don't disagree we need more aggression - but we don't need a Toby Greene, Sicily style hot head who can often be damaging to their own team.
Hopefully Treacy can show some more aggression over the next few years of his development, feel like he showed a bit more earlier on his career in that department.
