Was speaking to some Americans today and we threw around the idea of rebranding AFL as Street Football.

I like it, the game has to lose the word Australian.
for example: if someone shows you norwegian hockey, you think, yeh that might be good, but it's only a Norway thing.

They were saying AFL looks like how they played American football on the streets without pads etc.
I like the sound of Street Football, and hey with Marvel Stadium its pretty close.

If I'm watching street football I'm expecting this...
