From what I have been told this is the strongest Carlton to grace the field this year.

Back em in. Get it done boys.

Or is this the cartoon of where the employer employs the guy who looks just like him?
We can beat Sydney with this team but I am worried about whether any runners get back in next week
Harry not being able to ruck really unbalances our team (in his current form)
I hope he and Cunners earn their places
Thinking to the future (not just next week) I would have like to see if Mots could bring the X factor
I reckon we could miss Dow's run - he must surely be sub
Horses for courses I reckon. Voss and his team have picked a side to beat Sydney.
If we win, I have no doubt the side selected next week will be picked to give us the best chance of beating Melbourne or Collingwood and may have a different look to it.

Defensive mind set over attacking - we dropped our most attacking small forward who was in great form
Who's that? The only small forward dropped was Durdin.

Assume that you mean Motlop who didn't play last week so hasn't been dropped.

You could actually argue that owies has been our best small forward anyway.

Didn’t say best, said most attacking/dynamic, Owies has been great- was an illness out so he has been dropped from his starting 22 position.

*Mod Edit: Please refrain from playing the man

There will be wind gusts according to BOM. 25 to 40 kms decreasing in late evening to 20-25kms.
You'd think that will be a factor, starting with toss.

We need goals from Harry tomorrow. All well and good that it doesn’t allow teams to triple team Charlie but that’s not enough.

Absolutely gutted for Motlop and Hollands. Would have rathered them than Fog and Cotters but it is what it is.

We’re going with our 1 wood to win clearances and be brutal at the contest; I’ll judge the term performance and selection on its merits.

A ruck and a tall defender on the bench. It's going to make the midfield rotation times interesting.

I get that we are probably going to stop them from scoring and really bash them up in the first half, and sub in Motlop when the game opens up more in the third.

A little bit of a risk but I can see matchups for all of the defenders.

Weitering on McDonald, Marchbank on McLean, Kemp on Heeney because he can keep up with him on the lead and has the leap to match. Gov on Amartey. Newman on Papley deep and Cincotta on Papley when he goes up the ground and looks to double back on the slingshot. When Cincotta is on him, Newman is on Hayward. Haven't really factored in Saad there. Pretty useful lose defender.

Harry will kick at least 2.

Melbourne are looking extremely beatable at the moment. Reckon both us and Sydney would be able to beat them next week. So tomorrow’s game is the real challenge. Huge opportunity awaits if we can grasp it tomorrow.

Dees missing Brayshaw next week if they lose.
