I think that the rule around list vacancies being equal to picks only applies to when the draft commences. As such, we could theoretically trade 16 for 27, 28, 29, 42, 43, 46 and 69 as soon as the draft commences.

Technically, but it requires another club to have that many list spots available. At some point, a list spot becomes worth some amount of draft points.

The absolute best case from here is for them to think they can build their way out.

It would be good for their finals drought to be broken in 25 with a single win followed by a close loss.

And then in 26 the re-sign Brad for a further 3 years and they continue to languish in mid table no where.

This is so stupid... Brad always tried to recruit the best he could with us.... Just no one wanted to come. He's in the same situation with essendon. In the end he has to get what he can get.
Hardly a brad problem, more the situations he's in. Our supporters are so salty with ex North ppl. Guess what JHF is playing finals and we aren't
