So much negativity - suns out and we are playing in a home semi. Not expecting too much but interested to see who stands up when the whips are cracking
You obviously didn't watch the 119 point caining we endured in our last grand final appearance. We have been scarred for life and then to appoint hinkley for 13 years.
MAN GIVE US A BREAK!

Why did we even draft Narkle? quick, nice disposal, creates & kicks goals last I looked.

Did he refuse a syndicate invite? not pumping enough with Chuck & Chadbro? baffling

man i thought that was a great signing, exactly what they needed.
I thought those games he played were very promising then nothing
We've had like 7 players begging to be dropped all year

I'm confident that the main attraction tonight will be Kochie with others, pointing at the game
- Ratagolea, pointing at McKenzie
- Sweet, pointing at Lycett
- Zerk-Thatcher, pointing at Jonas in the stands

Hah! The media resorting to putting out "fluff" articles on this crap-shoot of a game to try drum up some sort of interest in it.

Good try!

Kingsley's team to win by 3 goals.

ben kingsley this summer GIF

Tribey pulled out a stat that in all knockout finals we've played since 2014, we've been beaten by a side we beat in our last clash that year.

2017 beat WCE in reg season, lost in final
2020 beat Rich in reg season, lost in final
2021 beat WB in reg season, lost in final.

Bodes well

Dates back to 2014 as well.

Lost to Richmond in reg season, beat in final.
Lost to Freo in reg season, beat in final.
Beat Hawthorn in reg season, lost in final

Nervous about Finlayson being dropped. He was huge against GWS only 4 games ago. Will admit his form after that has been putrid but i’d back him in against his former side and a team he's already dominated.
He might be a late in for Marshall? Or sub?

Hard to work out why we are such underdogs for tonight, unless it's people suggesting recent past history will happen again.
For one, I think we will really sink the boot into GWS and win well.

Any eleventh hour outs yet ?

I will be pleasantly surprised if McKenzie, Aliir, Marshall, Dixon and Lycett all make the starting line up and even more thrilled if all of them finish the game. I hope the aforementioned are all 100% fit but somehow I doubt it. That said we have to move on in the belief they are all fit.

Maybe the lingering doubt over key players is one reason why we are an underdog in the eyes of some. On top of that we lost last week while the Giants won and that sticks in the minds of some media experts.

Then goes onto say that one of the reasons why we signed Hinkley in August is so that players that want to join the club (Sweet, Rata, BZT) know for certain who our coach is next year.
Pretty confident Grundy knows exactly who our coach is next year too and that's why he'll be playing for Sydney.
