They've just rolled over the line by the opposition cant kick straight.

Many were actually saying the same about us. If games are close, they can just as easily have gone the other way. I'd feel totally hypocritical saying they are winning purely on luck because they've won so many close ones.

Dee's haven't kicked straight against us both times we've played them either ..

We outplayed a much stronger dees line up than Carlton played last night, add to that Gawn was playing and hampered by his foot injury. One of the weaker Melb sides one could face and the blues still struggled big time to beat them.

Bris v Carlton will be similar to the port game IMO. I’ll happily eat my words if I’m proven wrong

.....on the basis that in the gold coast situation, I'm not sure if just changing the coast is going to fix the problem. However, in the Melbourne situation, the events of the last two years has clearly shown that the coach is at fault.

If you watch the post game press conference, Goodwin said that the club would do everything to make sure it is improving....and then he named a few things.....list management ...recruitment etc etc...but he didnt mention his own coaching

I'm just hesitant to assume Blues are easy beats simply because they've won a couple of close matches. We all know what the power of momentum can do and they now have their full legion of bandwagon supporters all on board to give them even more of a lift.

I'll personally be very relieved if & when they are out of the finals.

Can't wait to see the back of them.

My PTSD regarding Carlton is very close to the surface.. I'm sure there are some on here feeling the same..

I just prefer Carlton not win. Any game. Any time. Ever.

I was enjoying the season much more when we were winning and they were losing.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching their supporters cry, whinge, whine, cut up their memberships, throw out their scarves, laughing at their clubs own ineptness..

I'm not enjoying them being in the finals, winning 2 of their finals matches and now being 1 win away from a GF.

I don't know how they've done it. And I just don't like it.

What if he took his 30 seconds and missed?

Easier to make that decision when you're in front but Carlton were behind and despite the close range the pressure would still have been immense if he had of taken a set shot.

I can understand why in that moment instinct and adrenaline took over and he took the opportunity to goal immediately.

He almost missed the play on goal anyway!
I think it was like half a metre inside the post from 15 out.
