Sounds like that will be the case for NMFC & GC but potentially Reid heading their way as WCE’s will want Curtin for their 1st pick with Colonel Sanders likely to be a Roo.

Whatever happens I suspect both the Roos future picks will be traded this year probably for unders to avoid any chance of them being taken back by the afl next year.

They have gotten so many freebies they won't care about getting full value for them. They will just want to end up with the players they want.

If they can use those 3 end of first rounders to turn 2 into 1 for Reid and get another pick in the top 10 for Sanders they will be happy.

Kemp Weitering Newman
Saad Mcgovern Williams
Acres Cripps O.Hollands
Durdin Mckay E.Hollands
Martin Curnow Motlop
Dekoning Walsh Smith

JSOS Cerra Docherty Cottrell

That would be one seriously stacked team outside of a gun small forward.

Would have to offload a Hewett or Kennedy though imo

Should be nothing surer re: next years future end of 1st rounders not being held.

They were the only 2 that came to my mind. Was pretty brief info, just a passing comment from a mate who owns the house they put the player up in for a week, but said couldn't mention names as was still very under wraps.

That suggests it might be an interstate player. Smith wouldn't need to be put up in a house for a week to see the surf coast. He'd just drive from Melbourne for the day.

I don't know but imagine adding a Top 10 pick to what we have that can step in straight away. Then next year we have a a few Father/Sons

Precisely…this is the year to to put draft chips all in and get the kid that will be a dynamic goal kicker and fierce competitor

Seems that Ollie Wines’ name has been raised as well but it not expected to eventuate.

With all due respect to Ralphy, what the **** is he talking about?

I think he's discovered a radically new economic theory that's going to change everything.

That money I saved up for a new car, guess what: I can now spend it all to go on a huge vacation, and then when I get back, also use it to buy the new car.

Ralph's Theorem: Once you have allocated a set sum for expenditure in the future, that sum also exists for expenditure in the present.

We all now have twice as much money as we thought we did.

if this is true - I can now buy 2 violet crumbles - 2!!

I don’t know how true but there are a few at the club that believe Bailey Smith wants out of the Bulldogs and we are certainly asking questions if not more

I don't care if it's true or not, this is the sort of thing that will fuel our off-season. Classic bluemour fodder.

Bailey Smith is the right player at the right time

I think Nth will trade with WC for pick 1. Very low risk trade for the Eagles and only move down one place, it will be interesting what they will demand.

2 and 14 for 1 and 39

Still need more marking material down there, the fleet-footed mobile types that can score a goal too.

Though our smalls need to read the room & play to front and centre rovers, or over the back hawkers.

Yep we definitely need to work on our forward craft as a team. Was ok in patches but hurt us this year.
