Ginnivan could well end up playing for Box Hill after a few games. We'd be foolish to give a F2. Almost as foolish as the Lions who've offered a F2 for a player who's playing VFL footy.

PS: Elijah Hollands might be the biggest trade steal this year. Carlton's midfield will be stacked with Cripps, Walsh, Cerra, Acres and the Hollands boys. With depth too (Newman, Kennedy).

The sun may also come up tomorrow.

Swap of F2 for a 20 year old who has shown serious promise is an absolute bargain.

Sure it comes with some attitude/behaviour risks attached but an absolute no brainer to get this deal done with Punky most likely playing his last season.

Thrilled with the Ginnivan deal and outcome.

We so sorely lack X Factor, he will bring some spark and get the crowd going - a very underrated trait. Jack and Watson causing havoc would be a lot of fun next season.

There is some risk here, but the upside is really high. Let's hope Sam, Sicily and Breust can turn him into a star.

I like Ginnivan. I think he'd learn a lot from Breust and be a good successor long-term.

Still think we need that one pocket rocket small forward to bring a lot of pressure though.

I think Josh Bennetts could be that for us … Could still improve his pressure acts further, but I was really impressed with his semi final game!

We got a decent return for Brocky given the lack of leverage. Getting Massimo as a DFA under Dodo's nose is a genuine stitch up and we may get both Ginnivan and Chol for our future second.

That's just really good business. Especially if we get Gunners for very cheap.

A future second for Ginnivan and Chol is very good trading. That is 2 x 40 goal forwards for essentially a single 2nd rounder.

The fact we’re swapping F2’s with the pies makes me think the Ryan deal is very likely.

GC should not be getting a F2 of any kind. They played this guy in VFL most of the year and are pushing him out the door. They do not deserve a second rounder.

Why? If his personality allows him to get the best out of himself then let it go. He isn't violent, he isn't nasty, he's just a bit lippy.
