This reminds me of a funny story down at Carlton in the early '80's.

A mate of mine, about 18 at the time, had just started training for Carlton. He was a rover so only a little guy. After a hard night of pre-season training everyone hit the showers. My mate managed to get in and score the last available shower and felt pretty good about himself showering with legends such as Johnston ,Harmes etc.

Sellers Maclure walks in naked, sees there are no available showers and without a word, walks up to my mate, picks him up and throws out the shower !!!

Needless to say my mates ego was somewhat deflated after picking himself up naked off the shower room floor.

He's contracted to Sydney until 2028. There's some rumours on this page that need to be taken with a grain of salt, this ones just plain bullshit. 1. A contracted player can't enter the draft, mid season, national or pre season. 2. Afl players can't switch clubs mid year. It's just a poster looking for some attention.

The only possibility would be if a midseason trade period is introduced. That's not a given.
