Based on the convo a ruckman might well be our top priority in the next draftFair enough, but that doesn't negate what l posted.
I think Collard was just deemed best available at that point and they weren't scared off by any go-home factor.
Moir went the next pick so it'll be interesting to compare the two along their journeys.
Or trade. I have a feeling that big Maxxy Heath won't make it unfortunately, his tank is just not big enough for league footballBased on the convo a ruckman might well be our top priority in the next draft
Mitch Keating is the worst AFL journalist, has no clue about anything. Completely fked his phantom draft and as you can see, clueless about teams too
Is anyone at zero hanger an actual journo???Mitch Keating is the worst AFL journalist, has no clue about anything. Completely fked his phantom draft and as you can see, clueless about teams too
We have been chasing a ruck for years.Based on the convo a ruckman might well be our top priority in the next draft
Switch Dow and Stocker and thats bacisally 100% correct.
Gus is being slept on as a young lockdown medium defender. Could easily become the next Brandon Starcevich. Already exposed to VFL football and was good at locking down on opposition small forwards. Good overhead, good skills, relatively mature body. Been affected by injury past couple of years so with an injury-free year, he could be a bolter. Him, Hastie, Nas, StockerBall movement drill starting with Gus McLennan or Wilkes…
Gus has beautiful skills.

Dow in for Stocker would be my only change. Maybe Sharman out for someone like Jones. What else is wrong with it?
Nas on wing, Clark on HBF, Hill on bench, Pou’s name, Dow will be straight into the middle.Dow in for Stocker would be my only change. Maybe Sharman out for someone like Jones. What else is wrong with it?
Ah, fair. The positions are a bit odd but the 23 is pretty accurate.Nas on wing, Clark on HBF, Hill on bench, Pou’s name, Dow will be straight into the middle.
Will be interesting to see if Byrnes cracks it, from all reports he’s firing and has gone up a level. Hammer too.Ah, fair. The positions are a bit odd but the 23 is pretty accurate.
Hammer has a broken pinky, only running laps. Will be interesting to see if Byrnes cracks it, from all reports he’s firing and has gone up a level. Hammer too.
Why would Byrnes be cracking it , he is a lock,,,,,,, For SandyWill be interesting to see if Byrnes cracks it, from all reports he’s firing and has gone up a level. Hammer too.

Ramblings of a madman as usualWhy would Byrnes be cracking it , he is a lock,,,,,,, For Sandy
Perhaps so, our accumulation of young mids lately does open the door to an opportunity like that, but l also think spending a 1stRDP on one won't happen unless that kid is something very exceptional.Based on the convo a ruckman might well be our top priority in the next draft
How that flawed simpleton Goodwin is a premiership coach and Lyon isn’t is one of the great mysteries of mankind! The cultural shift has been huge. Paul Roos and Ross Lyon are probably not that technically brilliant strategic coaches but both know how to bring a really defined focus on the right areas of the football club and get everyone in the same line working towards a known goal. I was chatting to a Dees mate on Cup day and he was saying that he gives Roos more credit for their premiership than Goodie.
Lyon and Roos have a system not just a game plan. Guys like Malthouse, Pagan etc had strategy but not a whole club approach and failed when moving clubs. You can't just throw a good coach into a poorly run club and expect success.
If Lyon had Melbourne he would have won the last three. Carlton would have probably won this year. How that flawed simpleton Goodwin is a premiership coach and Lyon isn’t is one of the great mysteries of mankind!
