at least we will only have to wait until August 2025 for a contract extension lol!

Just remember folks 13 wins on the trot...I cant believe KH hasnt had a stand named after him at Alberton yet!!
Yeah but the "Loser Stand" doesn't sound very attractive.

The funniest thing about opposition supporters telling us that Hinkley’s alright and that we’re way too harsh on him, is that if you put the shoe on the other foot for one second and tried to convince them that our coach is good, they would immediately point out how unsuccessful he’s been over 11 years.

If this afternoon someone stepped out of a time machine and told you that in 2024 we win through to a Friday night home Prelim against the 8th-ranked Suns, even at your most optimistic you are looking ahead to that one in a manner not unlike Sarah Connor did Judgment Day.

A dozen years of this genial mastermind, eh.

You'd give the West Indies a better chance in the upcoming Test series, than you would for Port in a preliminary final.

Just watched a replay of the 2014 Elimination Final v Richmond
The intensity of Ken in the box vs today is completely damming

Also Jake Neade is twice the player Jnr Rioli will ever be

We were up 43-0 then Ken was furious when we let Richmond kick the next goal.

Sack Hinkley for Christmas.

🎶 All I want for Christmas is a sacked hink-ley 🎵
I don't want a lot for Christmas
I won't even ask Koch to go
I'm just gonna keep on waiting for our missing coach to show
I won't make a threat and send it to Alberton for Matt Rich(o)
I won't even stay awake to plot the demise of this fat bitch

'Cause I just want him gone tonight
But he's holding on so tight
What more can I do?
Oh, Hinkley, your exit from the club's overdue
Adieu, Daddy

Discussing the Hinkley Era with a scarcely-invested outsider is like the scene in Moneyball where Billy Beane (Brad Pitt) is making forced small talk with his ex-wife’s husband (Spike Jonze) while waiting for his daughter.

“Not many teams make it that far, and to see you win 13 in-a-row was a real accomplishment!”

Sadly it was the passing of Phil Walsh that completely shifted his attitude to football.
It wasn't Walsh, it was greyhound racing mate Peter Hubbard's death in 2016 that made Donuts decided that being an AFL senior coach wasn't really important. He's just been going through the motions ever since and collecting a huge pay cheque thanks to Koch's incompetence.

From getting visibly angry at conceding soft goals in dominant hidings to repeatedly laughing, chuckling, joking and grinning in the aftermath of close/upset losses.

A Crows fan with a genie lamp couldn’t have wished up a more perfect situation for Port Adelaide to be trapped in.

Without trying to lessen the tragedy of anyone's death, the fact it was a mate involved in the mistreatment of animals that caused the change just makes me despise him more. Now if he'd taken a lesson out of it, that maybe it was time to step away from the abuse of helpless animals, that don't have agency, that'd have been something to admire him for. Not 'I'll keep dogs suffering as my mate would have wanted'.

I think you've gone a bit overboard here...

BUT

It did make me wonder if Ken also took the same post death attitude to the dogs that he did to footy? Or is he still uber passionate about greyhounds?
