Do hawthorn's team beat us on any line?

feel like we are better on every line

if this isn't a game for wright to clunk 5 or 6 solid contested marks and bag a few goals.
Jones and perkins also.
This backline is vfl std outside sicily.
The key backs or the defence in general? Key backs I agree. Phillips will be up against it trying to contain 2MP. He's really our only key tall who is going to play big. We have a whole heap of those 192-194 types who can matchup on most players not 6ft 6 and above. Scrimshaw and Weddle are tall enough for the others down there. Frost will play on Stringer. Nothing surer which suits the type of matchup he is actually decent at. My guess is your playing Draper to really stretch the defence as I see him playing predominantly forward. Scott saw the Dogs big forwards get a hold of the defence and clearly is looking for the same thing. We got smashed in the middle which is why they got a hold of us. Lots of easy entries unpressured. If that happens again Wright will kick a bag so will someone like Langford. Not much any defence can do to stop easy entries have a look at what the Blues did Friday Night when they got on a roll. Key is what happens up the ground for us if we're going to be competitive.

Thought this was a pretty reasonable post on an oppo board not sure what's so funny about it. Bombers should win.

really nervous for this game, missing our top players parish and ridley, underdone draper and hobbs to play, Necomb will destroy our small midfield, ginavin always gives us a headache, lewis, breaust gunston, good fward line, not sure where our goals will come fron, wright out of form, stringer is up and down, mitchell is a good coach and i think better tactician than scott, think this will be a frustrating loss

Defence in general

I'd expect stringer, Langford, Gresham and wright to do well in this game.
Though we have lost our best clearance player so that does balance things out a bit in terms of relief for the Hawks back 6

But once on the rebound we should have the quality of ball use to make the most of the advantage

I'd go tsatas for Parish and cox for Ridley here.

Cox - McKay - McGrath
Redman - Reid - Martin
Duursma - setterfield - Durham
Gresham - wright - langford
Menzie - Draper - stringer
Goldy - Merrett - tsatas
Caldwell - Hobbs - hind - laverde
Heppell or shiel

Usually Punt Road when we aren't playing Richmond
Thanks. I'm unfamilar with the MCG, does the punt road end atthe Ponsford stand side or the other side? Sorry for the dumbass question, I just wanted to know if I'll be near the Essendon or Hawthorn cheer squad side.

I think it's the other side but don't quote me on that.

If it's the Punt Rd (Eastern) end then Eth is right, should be the opposite side to the Ponsford in the Shane Warne Stand.
