Any interviews with him doing the rounds since he’s been drafted tonight ?? Always interested to see whether the interstaters are happy to come to the club .
Have a listen (not read) of the SEN interview this morning with Tim Gossage & Scotty Cummings.

You’ll be left with no doubts about him

Edit brad sue well beat me to it with the post directly above.

Same height similar body shape big kick …… looks like a young Tom Hawkins minus the fat arse!

Thanks for posting these clips.

Sounds like a ripping kid, best of luck to him. Here’s hoping he gets to the 200 games

Pre-draft seems really media managed with bits of self reflection.*good joke at the end.

Post, just seems like the real him and it’s great. Good luck to him.

Big West Coast and Freo fan and disliked all other clubs and players except Bud!

Had a long term contract so assuming 18 months.

Hopefully can develop some campaigner in him. Need that in a key forward otherwise you end up with Jeka 2.0.
How bout we let him actually arrive at the club before we compare him to a delisted former player

The article in the age referenced this in regard to Scaife - “Recruiters queries cantered on his social interaction, given he’s extremely shy and introverted”. Strange as doesn’t seem it in his radio interview.

If neurodiversity is a factor, PDM and psych need to come into their own. Recruiters need to be taught more than generalisations.

Talking about a passion and needing to sell yourself on radio can be quite different to social interaction.

Don't knock a fat arse, it's actually a pretty handy attribute for a forward!

This is potentially a huge unlock.
Even if he is merely introverted and only now coming into his own, that newfound confidence alone will be a. massive win for us. He seems to have a lot of untapped potential, especially in light of his late arrival to junior football.

MacKenzie and co pulled another great one for us.

Geez Michael Tuck and Bruce Doull played 700+ games and probably said about the same amount of words over that time.

Same goes with Dusty.

I have a big problem with people judging people based on their own expectations that everyone should be a loud mouthed extrovert.

Every footy club I have played at has always had a mix of personalities, you shouldn’t expect everyone to fit in the same cookie cutter mould.
