Last week Cats lost 4 in a row. First time since 2006.
Tigers last win at Kardinia Park was Round 9 2006.
Cats won't let this 13 home game streak record fall.
Pressure on Cats to break losing streak is immense.
This transforms into immense pressure on Tigers today.
Expect the Cats to become the hunters once again.
Frustration of a 3 loss by a kick will be unleashed.

Cats weakest link is their inexperienced midfield.
Without Blitz, responsibility falls on Conway and Neale.
Kids become men when relied on to perform.
They must go from passengers to team drivers
3rd straight game will help build needed self belief.
Even big marshmallow Neale will harden in the fire.
(This is exactly what he needs to grow)

There were many good signs of a return to form
Especially from key trio Stewart Jezza and Hawkins.
Focused Cats will regain composure and link up.
Cats will explode back into form n blow up doubters.
Cats to send message they are back in the hunt.
Enjoy the melts from those quick to write off Cats

Predicting a comfortable win... 6 goals +

Been a lot of pessimism this week around the Cats in the media and amongst some of the chatter on social media.

Richmond have won one game this season for a reason, they are an ordinary side in transition with some injury concerns.

We are at home, there is no reason given the small losses we’ve had outside of the Gold Coast game (an aberration being in Darwin), that if we are switched on we should win this game by a decent margin.

Richmond bleeds across most lines in terms of defensive effort, so we should be able to capitalise, I suspect a guy like Gryan Miers gets off the chain and creates plenty of opportunities for our forward line.

Here’s hoping we are switched on throughout the game and feel comforted from the fact that we are playing one of the two worst teams going around this year.

Richmond have 12 players under 50 games apparently. If it's close we got issues

Note: not ruling out the idea that we got issues

As mentioned a good win has us sitting third after twelve rounds, don’t think anyone here would’ve knocked that back after twelve rounds. Time for some positives - Our two most decorated and experienced mids to come back after the bye, Conway growing into it, the older brigade that have let us down in our losses so hopefully they can turn that around as their swansongs, best coach in the business we think and a soft run to finish it out. Apart from Sydney out like Might and Power the rest look like they’ll be in a line at the turn and even though a long shot we are still some chance to be in it when the whips are cracking like most years. For mine it’ll come down to the consistency and growth of our youngens and possibly some tough calls at MC and re-invention of our game plan in the next few months. That said, lose tonight and we may as well put a half dozen out to stud and look to the start of next autumn.

Giddy up, cats by 29.

Imagine if we lose this game.

Maybe it’s a fingernail deep analysis, but just want the pressure index to flex and not see so many loose tiger players running freely into the forward line where cats defenders look completely lost trying to zone off into weird areas…..
Hoping Stewart gets to AA level in his performance . Crank up cats!

If anyone is looking for last minute tickets I can no longer make it tonight and have literally just submitted a seat return for 2x seats in the bottom of the Hickey Stand. Not sure if they come on ticket master immediately but worth a shot.

In 2017, last time Tigers played at KP, their fans were:

Have they accepted playing our home game at KP? Or is it begrudging because they're Seventeenthmond + think AFL is shafting them again?

Agreed.

We will be winning this game.
Lock it in Eddie.

The interesting thing will be seeing how we will it.
Given our recent form the tuggers will come in thinking they can win this if they can pressure us enough and the bounce of the ball is in their favour - Catters better be 100% switched on - just sayin’

A battling tight win would feel like a 10-goal defeat to me.
Depends on how it happens for mine.

Kids play well in a close win = I'd be happy with that.

Kids don't play well, and we rely on a huge game from Hawkins and/or Jezza to get over the line = We're on the same page.

You'd take it, as we just need a win right now, but it's disappointing.
