And most likely turns off potential supporters and causes memberships to decline.

I just love how Simmo never shied away from how much he loves North. A lot of ex players do tend to distance themselves, at least publicly.

When asked what he’s going to do now…

“Take some time with the family. Watch the Eagles. Watch North.”

Thought it was a very good interview…cleared up smirk gate…and stated that he loves WC and Roos and will watch wet toast and north in time off.
He looks like he needs the next few months off after the horrid past 24 hrs.

Yes I know that. My point by using that example is that the media have a certain responsibility to treat the people, and the very thing that provides them with an income, with a certain level of respect.

Each to their own but I don’t think that after 10 years of Damo being an arseh*le that just because he says something positive about us it’s all of a sudden funny.

In relation to Damo, I actually don’t rate him so I couldn’t care less what he says. At the same time though, North didnt exactly cover themselves in glory prior to Clarko coming onboard. Personally, I wouldn’t give Damo so much credit. He’s not that important and everyone can see through him. Just my take.
