How is this...

Richmond give Daniel Rioli, Jayden Short, pick 47

Gold Coast give Malcom Rosas, pick 6, pick 13, pick 20

Graham signs on

Jack Graham will remain a Richmond player after signing a a new four year deal
Bitch Slap Slapping GIF by absurdnoise

I don’t like it though, fine compensation for Graham but the Baker trade is way off.

Pick 23 will probably end up being pick 30.

Then we have the bid matching circus.

Ashcroft, Lombard & Kako are all but guaranteed to attract a bid before pick 25. Then there is a chance Ben Camporea

where the number falls its irrelevant, we were never going to get Ashcroft, Lombard & Kako, Ben Camporeale, Welsh and Marshall our pool of players wont change even if pick 23 falls to 30.
Thank you

True, but it doesn’t change the fact that we are getting the 30th ranked player not the 23rd ranked player.
So the question is, do you rate Baker at pick 30? That's the player you have to look at in the draft ratings, not pick 23
FFS.Your(us) getting the 25th player thats available to everyone.

If we're thinking ~12 for baker, this means we're effectively trading 10+12 for 3. I'm not necessarily sold on that but it's around the mark. Big chance fos and smith got 1,2 so we shouldn't do this deal just cause we don't want to have to choose between those two
Take FoS @1
Norf won't take Jagga.

Why would GC want Short? Rioli and Noble are both Half backs.

I hear Jack Lukosius may be on the Table at the Suns.

Any chance we would be interested? I don't mind him as a player.

Only 24 so would still be a good age in 4-5 years when some of these new kids we get are at there prime.
When David King is right, he is absolutely bang on. Do not want Lukosius. As King says, he is just Jack Watts with a bit of lipstick and prettied up.

Wrong.
Essendon now will be able to select a player before Kako and take out a player we may have had interest in. Then use their later picks to match for Kako.
Very rare it happens though 1st rnd anyway. This years draft being so deep no one is gonna bid on Kako before 8.

If we have 3, I could support this, subject to due diligence.
If we don’t, & the draft was tonight, I’d take Jagga at 1
Also taking Jagga at 1 if we have 1&2
Yeah its a tough one.
Like FOS(reminds me of Cotch)
Like Jagga because he has performed all year at all levels and is a clear point of difference to our current midfield.

It’s like the AFL’s plan to dismantle us has back fired. Now we have secret agents at each club so we can always get overs 😂
Cats can have all the land they want.
We'll collect Premiership cups instead.
