I legitimately dont know what we do here.

We've paid him too much for too long to bury him in the VFL till end of contract. He is untradable. We absolutely cannot afford to pay him out. We play him and he plays the exact same way every single time.

We know we have a problem - what can we do about it?

Is the club trolling him?

In the latest quiz, where you match a player with a type of cheese, this is the one that matches with Dylan Stephens...

There you have it. Not even playing his role very well. To finish below Duursma in the BnF given he played 16 games is quite an achievement

Anyone at all?
In our VFL team. Saw his face pop up last night in the losing 2022 Swans GF team. And then thinking how easy it was for Swans to let him go with Gulden and McInernary so dominate on their wings. He is a better kick that those 2 IMHO, but has none of their heart and hardness at the ball. I hope the coaching team can play him into some role playing position for the best of the team. He did have some QTRs last year where your thinking “OK there is something to work with here”.

A better kick than Gulden? Having a laugh aren’t you?

Anyone have this bloke in their 22 for next year at this stage?
Anything could happen over the off season however i reckon he may have had a few words spoken to him during the season.

Early on he was very cat like but showed a little bit in his last couple of games.

There's a player there, not sure we'll ever see it but it's definitely there. Probably the worst sort of player to sign up on a long deal. Hopefully Clarko can get the best out of him.

Pissed off at him. Part of that will be my own expectation. I wasn't thinking he'd be a world beater, but I was thinking he'd give us some ok delivery inside 50, provide some level of defensive resistance when the ball made it out into the spacious areas, and get involved in chains in that middle third. He did none of it. Might be coachable to eyes more familiar with the nuances of strategy than mine, but he needs a big turnaround. Scott and McKercher over him every day and twice on Sundays, and hell, I'd put Tucker (in his wing days of 2023) and Ford there ahead of him too, and I'm not enamoured with either of them

He’ll be like Tucker as we run through the next few years. Part of the system, doing just ok.

More worried about Fisher who needs to be told he’s a forward again and he needs to work hard at it.
