Ask and we'll try our best to assist - so here's 2024 Provisional AFL Draft Order

As normal, would like to acknowledge & thank Lore for creating this, keeping it up to date and making it available for all users on BF to use and keep track of the picks ahead of the upcoming draft

I'll also sticky this post to ensure it's easily accessible for discussion of our hypothetical trader

SEN saying cats have spoken to Butters twice this year, Saints have as well. Chances are high he returns to vic at the end of next season.

Gonna have to be that bloke and say no that’s not what happened. They read a text out from some nuffy who said that. The next text was “my mate was having beers with Perrymans brother he said he’s going to pies”

He was originally but when furphy came in that meant we had 3 cat bs (mullin furphy clohesy) and the limit is 2. So this means either mullin or clohesy was quietly elevated to senior list at end 2023 but the club never announced which one was.
What does “bs” mean, please PO?

Only know 🐂💩

I didn’t know it was a text?
Sorry if I was incorrect. I am working as well so must have pricked my ears up when Sammy Edmund said it.

Oh well, can only hope. Where there’s smoke there’s fire…

There is nothing in the terms and conditions of this site preventing dolphins from posting, you don't have to hide it anymore

Lol finally a safe place to be myself! Here's a quick vid of me on my recent trip to the Galápagos islands, enjoy! :tearsofjoy:

Not if it gets us Smith.
One bloke is a star of the competition while the other may not even make it.
Which is why the Dogs wouldn't bother including him a deal. They want things that are worth something on the open market.

You only get one Dean Gore/Adelaide in your lifetime.

Crack up (hypercritical) that Caroline Wilson was critical of Smith, considering the move to Ch9 from Ch7 with Kane Cornes 🙄

Also, with his Cotton On range + Geelong Cats’ collaboration, ‘could be’ as simple as a sponsor including a client at a blockbuster

He’s definitely coming to Geelong, isn’t he?

My only objection is, his hair, must have a decent haircut 😳

What was the knock on Willis?
Finally got fit , pace to burn…..
Was it endurance, inability to find the pill?
Thanks , I didn’t watch a lot of VFL so a bit mystified…
Just didn't get the ball. Looked likely at times and when he was involved but honestly 3/4 of a game you wouldn't see him.

Originally put it down to lack of opportunity, injuries, position etc but by the end of the year got to the point where he just was a non event.

I know the club has said Bews, Duncan, Dangerfield, and Stanley are all playing on next year. That leaves just Clohesy and Kolo out of contract. The former I understand, but what's going on with Kolo?

May not even make it suggests he won’t tip the scales too far in any Smith negotiations. I’d keep him.

I agree. Not sure why Clohesy was mentioned to begin with.
This is why the talk surrounding De Koning is bizarre. The last team in the competition who need another tall are the Bulldogs.

Agree about the haircut, but it is his "brand"!

When the heck does he officially announce he wants to come to Geelong??

Below is the current state of our list with Kolo and Clohesy included even though they're not contracted for 2025.

The list size requirements are "between 36 and 38 on the primary list, four to six category A rookies – depending on the size of their primary list – and up to two category B rookies," so we have a lot of spots to fill with not many picks.

Atkins, Close, Dempsey and Mullin all still currently on the rookie list so we may upgrade a few of them.

I don't know about that. The Dogs KPDs are Liam Jones (33yrs old) and Rory Lobb (31). Though I do think they have high hopes for Jedd Busslinger.

Not seeing the hypocrisy. Caroline is free to change employers as will. Smith can as well but his industry has rules around 3rd party income. Caroline has no such limitations

Regarding Clohesy and the Bulldogs - do we know if he's still a rookie or has he been upgraded to the senior list?

If he's still on the rookie list & we're only looking to offer him another year as a rookie, he's essentially a FA who can move to the club of his choice with no trade needed

All depends which list he's currently on
