We will be taking Armstrong with our 1st pick

Is an absolute moral, coupled with the Darling acquisition, to take some pressure off Armstrong while he develops. I would probably expect to bring in another KPF aswell in this off season. Maybe even the Whitlock twins to sure up KP stocks for the next 10 years?

If Darling is being brought in to teach training standards and forward 50 craft, it is rather pointless without any young KPF to mentor and assist?

He isn’t coming to develop and mentor Larkey, Teakle and Pink?

I very much doubt the recruitment team even know who we are picking yet let alone big footy posters….way too many variables to play out yet

I would be going to GC and offering this pick swap.

They can use pick 2 to get ahead of the Lombard bid and send it to Richmond for Rioli & change, or they can use the pick from Lukosius to do a deal for Rioli and use pick 2 to grab another gun player - they have options.

6 - Armstrong or Shanahan
12 - Berry or a slider like Smillie perhaps?
20 - another gun KPP.
58 - Parker
64 - Darling
F3 - Garcia

With 3 x rookies to come.

Probably the year to do it, if there was one. Think this is our best bet - If we were to split, go something like this!

Some names that are high on my list include: Louis Emmett, Archie Ludowyke, Fred Rodrieguez, Dyson Sharp, Felix Kneipp, Cooper Duff-Tyrtler, Riley Onley and Tarion Ah-Mu.

Looking likely that next year is shaping up as a bumper draft class too.

Everyone is blowing their collective loads over Hannaford, but I suspect Berry will be the better forward overall.

He simply does everything to a very high level. Great kick, works up and down the ground, good overhead, footy iq is above average and puts the heat on the ball carrier.

Berry might be the better forward but from what I’ve seen Hannaford has the potential to be better.
Love his aggression,skills , intent and will make an impact in his first year.
Some club will take him early - around 10-15
