People complain about lack of depth and then complain when we go get depth players. This is the AFL, most teams don't even have 23 AFL standard players on their list, let alone depth. The choice is either relative spuds like Ratkins or an 18 year old that we get with pick 70. If we choose the former you'll complain about spuds, if we choose the latter you'll complain about lack of depth. It's a no win situation due to a very shallow talent pool.

There have been and will be a large number of players delisted that could offer just as much (if not more) as Ratkins, aren't actively despised by an already disillusioned supporter base, and would be much cheaper. Why not just sign one of these players, to a 1 year contract on minimum wage, give the difference in wage to Butters/Bergman to make them happy instead of trading in Rory F'ing Atkins..?!?!?

Yeah dunno about that. He was an average player at his peak 7-8 years ago. The last 5 years hes been a complete spud. He is absolutely not better than any of those players now

Farrell, Bergman, Jones, Evans, Sinn, Burton, Burgoyne, Williams. Thats a lot of hbf depth as it is

Looks like we took copping our first sanfl wooden spoon pretty hard so lets not sack the coach or think outside the box to recruit for them, lets pick up all the spud muffins in the AFL instead.

Remember this year when we were all bicep flexing **** the sanfl we’re joining the vfl reserves and yet we care so much about the sanfl now we are recruiting into it at the detriment of the AFL side. Show the current state of the club: we are all talk and no smoke
