Is that the deal??

Not bad so long as you don’t just get loaded with additional interstate games in other states
It's the deal for 2025 at least, and the club will have ditched Tassie by 2026.
So 2025 - Two games in Tassie, two home games in WA with no away games in WA.
2026 - Two games in WA, nine home games in Melbourne and likely an away game in WA.

Oh dear..

God, that’s surely a court case waiting to happen.

Logos and the thought process behind them is something that’s always interested me. So often huge organisations end up with something that doesn’t make sense outside of the four walls in which the logo was conceived. For example, the fact that this logo is a Sherrin had to be pointed out to me. I just see an ‘S’. Maybe an ‘O’. Maybe an ‘e’. I don’t know why one side has lines and one side doesn’t.

Surely the one thing a logo should be is unambiguous.

The lines gives me a bit of a "sunrise/set over water" impression. I only see that and the S.
