It is weird, I was seeing some predraft rankings that had him as a potential late first round prospect.

He was also All Australian.

Perhaps clubs were put off by his height (or lack there of)?

He tends to try and do too much rather than take what is normally the first, best option. This will take time.

Also anywhere remotely close to goals and he has a tendency to blaze away with very inconsistent results.

If he can make the right decisions at AFL level and lower his eyes for players on the lead more regularly he will be a star.

Which is very dumb, because if you are good enough, you are tall enough.

Toby Greene 181 cm
Caleb Serong 180 cm
Lachie Neale 178 cm
Errol Gulden 175cm

Tom Gross 181 cm

Oh I 100% agree. Things have been that way for a while now though, things like height & pace have made recruiters overlook superior footballers unfortunately - players like Sam Mitchell and Lachie Neale are just 2 of the many examples you could use from over the years.

I'm hoping if that was the case in regards to being over looked we've got a gem with fire in his belly.

Yes I agree with you.

The thinking is weird imaging with the speed and height metric of today, Greg Williams at 176 cm probably doesn't get a look in on an AFL list.

Oh, his mum's from Perth and has a heap of family there. Good stuff.

Was already happy with this pick but that little nugget of info has made it even better

Did lol when he said his family is up north in Quinns Rocks

Quinn’s shouldn’t be Perth, but Urban sprawl etc

She’s annoying as f. Keeps asking stupid irrelevant questions like some preschoolers mum

Sounds like a Cadet journo who maybe isn't on the AFL detail covering for someone on holidays. Didn't mind it, was amusing at least. Probably don't hear from her again.

Maybe it was same person who asked the questions at Mini's presser.
They were absolutely embarrassing.

Has Mini done a presser at the club since he was appointed, I can only see the one on their YouTube channel from his first week that he did with Pyke and the big cheese. Don't think she was on deck for that one must of just been another cringe journo.
