Fun fact - an American (woman) completed her PhD by studying 45 rivets from the Titanic
See if it would of still sunk with 45 less rivets? It would of was the conclusion. 1 less iceberg would of been betterThe point of which was to…?
I had to read about these rivetting rivets.See if it would of still sunk with 45 less rivets? It would of was the conclusion. 1 less iceberg would of been better
I blame the Irish.I had to read about these rivetting rivets.
It would have sunk hours later with better rivets was the conclusion. Passengers would have been rescued if they didn't go tight arse on the rivets.

A Riveting Solution to What Sank the Titanic - JHU Engineering Magazine
The mystery has remained unsolved for nearly a century. The RMS Titanic was a 46,000-ton, double-hulled marvel of modern engineering. Unsinkable, people called it. Why then on April 14, 1912, did a glancing blow off an iceberg cause the Titanic to sink into the depths of the North Atlantic in...engineering.jhu.edu
No different to me being given an honorary pass in year 10Fun fact - an American (woman) completed her PhD by studying 45 rivets from the Titanic
I blame Jack and Rose for carrying on and distracting the lookout for a crucial 5 seconds. Then she let him freeze to death rather than let him on the door. EvilI blame the Irish.
Figure out whether weak rivets giving way when the Titanic collided with the iceberg may have been a factor in the flooding and subsequent sinking - (the rivets didn't cause the Titanic to collide with the iceberg)The point of which was to…?
Too much Guinness in between banging in rivets....I blame the Irish.

Yeah i wouldn't sail in the Yarra in anything i built pissedToo much Guinness in between banging in rivets....
No rivets now - welding instead - also there's fewer icebergs - more likely to run into a derelict yacht abandoned by a Russian Oligarch who's on the outer and can't flog gas anymoreOh great. Next time we build a 1912 ocean liner with an inadequate number of lifeboats, a class system which favoured saving the moneyed passengers first, and a captain who recklessly sailed the ship into iceberg strewn water - we’ll be sure to use stronger rivets!!
Is this about Trump's America?Oh great. Next time we build a 1912 ocean liner with an inadequate number of lifeboats, a class system which favoured saving the moneyed passengers first, and a captain who recklessly sailed the ship into iceberg strewn water - we’ll be sure to use stronger rivets!!
