Fantastic game by Collingwood.
Great spectacle in general and illustrates how blessed we are with the quality of football played these days. Game gone soft, pffft.
Looking forward to next week. All 44 players involved will be more than ready to go again. I wouldn't take anything negative out...
This. A thousand times, this.
As someone else said, it was not a Collingwood training session. It was the Grand Final Parade.
The fact that Mick Malthouse was telling the Collingwood fans to shut up ought to tell you something.
The fact that it doesn't tells the rest of us something.
You know... it's not the fat, or that terrible dress she wore (at least she's covered up this year).
It's the crazed look in her eye...
... like she might gnaw your arm off.
Three goal assists, actually.

Riewoldt - hard-running CHF who covers the whole ground and almost never plays deep.
Buddy - looks for the handball over the top...
Notice the use of the word second there, Yowler?
He was on the ground because he'd just collided with a Dogs player, during which he'd struck his head.
Ridiculous thread. He'd just copped a second whack to the head and was on the turf disoriented. He grabbed automatically at the oppo player running past. Deserved a free kick, which it drew, bot nothing more.
I at no point said that he ought to take the MVP of Swan. Not for this year, at least.
Apologies - wrong term. He was critically involved in about four passages of play in the 3rd that resulted in goals.
What I was disagreeing with was your statement that he only had influence once St Kilda...
Um, dude?
He was responsible for St Kilda starting to dominate in the 3rd.
Started marking everything in sight and kicking straight. Had about 4 goal assists also. The knock to the head seemed to do it, oddly.
Tom Harley made an interesting comment on Riewoldt's goal kicking two weeks ago. He said most people don't realise how spent Riewoldt is by the time he actually gets the ball, how many times he's already presented, or how far he's run from elsewhere on the ground to mark, etc. Harley was of the...
The point is that he probably didn't have concussion. See my above post.
Blow to below and slightly in front of the ear will produce disorientation and muscle spasms.
It's not difficult to understand. Especially for a neurosurgeon. /sarcasm
Your friend is no medical expert... if he even exists.
Anyone who has done some basic self-defense training would tell you that a moderate blow to the neck, below and slightly in front of the ear (and guess where Kosi's elbow connected?) will cause muscle spasms and put your opponent out of it...
I don't expect tomorrow night ( make that tonight) to be an easy win actually. People wrote off the Doggies ahead of the Sydney game too.
You countin your VFL flags again? And I thought Pies fans might finally feel some inclination to join the rest of us in the present. For shame.
And aren't...
Do you generally only attend to one line of someone's post? You're quite the bitter, bitter, bitter Brisbane supporter.
And no, I don't need you to pretend to like Roo. Find the reasons for your dislike, well... non-existent though. Guess you're just a hater. Haters gonna hate.
Will save us...
02, 03? Though no more relevant to St Kilda than St Kilda losses that did not involve Collingwood are to the Pies.
Finals win > H&A win.
Having said that, I believe we did beat you this year...
Virtually an identical incident. See my above post for that too.
You do not see Riewoldt ask for a free if there wasn't one there. The bottom line is that kind of harassment is illegal and there are rules in place aimed at stamping it out. Those rules should either be enforced or be removed.
So on the basis of the above incident, Riewoldt is a stager? Going to have to disagree with you there. If a defender is stupid enough to lay a solid and illegal bump on you directly in front of the umpire, then you draw his attention to it.
It's actually team play.
And?
Dumb-as-rocks defender laying an illegal bump behind the play. If you took your blinkers off for a second, you might notice the way Riewoldt's head snaps back.
I suspect your dislike stems from Roo replacing Brown as the generally considered premier forward last year. Yes, I can remember...
I wouldn't expect opposition fans to like Milne... would hate him if he played for another team, much like I hate Didak and Harry O.
Can't quite fathom the Rooey hate though. Rather OTT, mentioning him with the likes of the above. Courageous, talented, and well-mannered in the way he conducts...
