Mangan played but hear he struggled. and Ogden was easy top three for senior side on Saturday and beats me how bushies mist him. ky doesnt seem to go to well with the bushies or interleague sides
mate u really should stop spanking the monkey. u played in an U/16 granny big woop. and if u were gonna be any sorta player in gv u shoulda been playin seniors at kdfl not just playing for ur self and a lame 3rd place in b+f. shame on u
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
he filled in last year for tat and i played in 3 thirds games this year 2 against tat. and if it only takes a player of his standard to get flown to darwin each week i dont think its worth havin a crack
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
echuca half a side out? . can u please name these 11 players. there wouldn't be many teams in the league who have put a full side out there this year. Ky had players out too. every team this year could blame a loss on having players out but its pathetic...
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
when fit aaron is a player to watch. quick and silky smooth. Benny played ones at ky till he went to melbourne and is pretty handy. Just watch his hook :)
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
hey fellas. how bout an update from a few people and how they think their teams gone so far!! injury updates and if their team is playing to somewhere near their potential yet?
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
i dont know seymour situation. but ur still wrong. winning a premiership in under 18s doesnt mean u will have good players left. just because these blokes played in premiership team doesnt mean they are good
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
no not the same for gvfl under 18s mate. you could say each team on average (not sure with seymour) loses half its team each year because they are too old so a premiership team from the previous season could be bottom of the ladder the next season
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
have got a few out. Will jackson (broke leg) ty guiney (dislocated shoulder/ ankle injury) Martin byrne (shoulder) jack young (knee) also a couple of guys having to play with injuries that wouldnt play if we had numbers to field a side without having to...
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
Prydey wasnt nominated by the club to represent ky and eddie only went to 2 out of the 4 trainings before the cut. But there were plenty that didnt go to every training that made the first cut
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
good call wadey. i would say stick to sheep dogging out at lanky mate. if you wanna play some real footy come into ky and the boys will show how soft they are :). So post something worth reading instead of having a crack at Ky because your not good...
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
yeah it is. but my opinion is it doesnt make much difference if he is or isn't bottom age or top age thirds if ya good it will happen for ya
Re: Offical 18's gvfl thread
Mate what do you say now? Two of em have played or are about to play seniors!!
You got a gig yet in the ones?:cool:quote]
yeah played ones every game so far mate. when ky played swans finnen struggled to get a kick
Re: Offical 18's gvfl thread
it may have been hard and we have been challenged by every team we have played so far. but it was still probably the worst we have played. unforced skill errors and in general play and at goals that has nothing to do with the swans side and was brought about by ky...
Re: Official 18's GVFL Thread (part 2)
Anyone wanna have a crack at picking a side?? too hard for me dont know the blokes from seymour, mansfield, euroa, benalla
Re: Offical 18's gvfl thread
i didn't say individuals will win games for ya. u still have to have good side across the board. But individuals (good players) playing well will only benefit the side and good players will bring lesser players into the game
