absolute joke that corbin hasnt been allowed to play. It's junior footy after all, the players arent playing for money their playing for fun and for the love of the game. Who cares if his name wasnt put on the team sheet one game, if burra wanted to challenge themselves they would allow him to play!
We played there on a dry day and it was exactly the same. By the end of the reserves on the weekend you could not tell the two teams apart?? it was an absolute mud pit. The centre square is ankle deep in mud and they had to change the ball every quarter...id certainly rather play in a bit of...
dont rule yarram out...when we played them at the start of the year we managed to beat them but got annihilated in the last game against them and i think they were the best side we played all year. Korumburra are probably structurally better and more professional but yarram play so well as a...
you didnt catch the surface of the fish creek ground on the weekend did you??...tarwin is easily in the best condition of the grounds in the league atm and the wind hasnt even been a factor in any of the games played there this year.
I was talking about why some players stay in the smaller league. Everyone else on here has been talking about them including you cause you said kael bergles was a waste of talent at tarwin. You have a very short memory about a lot of things rabble. And yes i am very happy where i am playing and...
He started this year at cranbourne but really didn't like the people there or the way the club ran, so if he was only playing for money wht would he leave there for tarwin? If people do not wanna play in the gippsland league then they don't have to, people like you dont have a right to tell them...
I agree it is not great form at all but tarwin seemed to play with a real thirst for the contest against inverloch that they have lacked in recent weeks. I think Foster's form shows that even with their backs against the wall and with a string of injuries they have proved they can win in tight...
i thought you were smarter then this nobrot, it is utter dribble. Red ticket was a great success and everyone seemed to enjoy themself. There is no tensions between the coach and his players at the moment, they played one of their best games for the year on the weekend against an Inverloch side...
Note. Foster are unbeatable at the moment, they havent lost, they proved on the weekend even when they are down they will find a way to win...not the first time Island thirds have been involved in a brawl after the final siren either. Another note that of those four losses rabble one was by 3...
Having u/12 and under u/14's junior sides in the the central gippsland junior football league would actually work better for them. Rather then having u/11's and 13's in the alberton
He is worried about the gap between their u/16's and u/13's...pretty sure most Alberton clubs have 11 and 12 year olds running round in their 4ths. And the fact he is wanting an u/15's competition made just for the benefit of Wonthaggi is an example of their arrogance!
Anyone read Rob Tesoriero's sook in the sentinel times about how some games some of their u/16's players have to step up and play u/18's...and this is why no one likes Wonthaggi cause the moment things get a bit tough they get the kleenex's out. Pretty sure every other club does this week in...
a has been?...well id like to see him at his peak then. Did get 2nd in the b & f in a premiership winning team last year. And its baulking not 'borking'
What about the clubs in the mid gippsland league like Mirboo North, Newborough, trafalgar, morwell east, yinnar, yallorn north....I think the main factor in alberton's dominance in the u/16's age group is the fact they all play u/18's for their respected clubs, a much higher standard then u/16...
so many big towns...what like stony creek, fish creek, devon, foster, meeniyan, kilkunda, dalyston etc. What a stupid thing to say...I think the towns in the gipssland league would be a bit bigger saint.
no bowman from Foster. Big ruckmen, he dominated...and to be honest i have no idea. Tarwin did go into the shell after quarter time though and became scared to take the game on. Their first quarter was the best I have seen them play in a few years.
hyper extended elbow actually. And yeah it was a one off mutly, rests in the forward line for a little bit but spends most of his time weaving through packs in the guts.
Totally agree with you but it is a good as indicator of form as we can get as we can only watch one game a weekend. And i was more trying to highlight the goals kicked by both of them after nobrots rash statement about how cann did not feature on the list.
Yeah ankle injury, didnt come out after half time. Eddy slotted some nice goals and bergy was a real livewire whenever the ball went forward for tarwin...unfortunately it didn't go down there enough after quarter time.
