Painful loss to the Doggies.
May prove costly in the run to the finals.
Players went defensive when Central made their run. That, plus inaccurate kicking when we were in full control of the game, cost us the points.
Fantastic first half by the Legs, and very good overall.
Our midfielders dominated the game. Trotter, Dawes, Gallagher, Donohue, Weatherald and Phillips were outstanding. Walker kicked 5, and Doyle rucked very well in the first half.
Sitting fourth, with a bit of a buffer, and another big game...
As it turns out, Cockshell did play, and just as well he did. Was very close to B.O.G.
Ed McDonnell is still finding his feet at SANFL level. Think it's fair to say he's not in our best 21, but appears to have the potential to make it. Injuries were a big problem in 2007, but has shown signs...
It appears Borlace never fully recovered from his knee operation last year.
In more bad news for this week, Massie, Puopolo, Vlatko and Cockshell are all out. Vlatko and Cockshell were injured at training last night.
On the plus side, we do get Jericho and Matt Thomas back.
Looks like we may have seen the last of Scotty Borlace - at least for 2008, but quite possibly may not play League footy again.
Great clubman - hopefully he's able to squeeze out some more games in 2009.
We're still in the five, and hopefully there for the rest of the season.
At least we have our destiny in our own hands.
The boys should have something to prove when they return for their next home game (this week), and when they play Glenelg next. Whilst people have pointed to the low...
Great goal - banana kick from the boundary.
We're trying to forget the score for that game - 1.3
Norwood have a bye this week, but he may not be a certainty when they resume, as we have one tall too many, it seems.
Was dropped to the Reserves early in the season, but has fought his way back to the ones.
Quiet one on the weekend, but is developing into a handy key position/occasional back-up ruckman type.
Will always be remembered for kicking the teams' only major, a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately, Trotter missed today's win at Prospect, after being a late withdrawal - apparently strained a hammy at training on Thursday. Has been a very important player for us, particularly at stoppages.
Workmanlike effort by the boys today. The defence, led by Jackman and Bown, was...
