Re: National Draft Selection #80 -
Seen this kid when I Watched a few power games this year and he is a gun! Uses the ball so well and looks to have so much time. He was an over age player this year so he is already 19. But could look like bargain in a few years time!
The scoreboard was because of a community grant from the bendigo bank, and there was only one ex-vfl listed player that played on Saturday that wasnt there last year. Your trying to make up excuses. No one has came to drouin on big money, and will get even stronger over their next few matches...
Speaking to a couple of the drouin fellas and they won't be getting Luke Ablett, but they won't be loosing anyone. They have had a few EDFL guys training with them and they are expected to sign maybe three or four of them. Good be a good year for the Hawks in '10
I honestly believe it is your six in the middle... Your B class players, its teams that have a strong set of second stringers that can rise when the top 6 arent playing well that win you games.
You look at St. Kilda's that you didnt mention and you have Gilbert, Gram, Koschitzke, Jones...
To be honest, I dont know. I didnt play in the first half of the year when everything was working well, but we lost our CHB half way through and were always playing smalls on talls cause we didnt have anyone else, midfielders I thought needed to be rotated more which was happening in the first...
He is 25... I don't know if he felt like he fitted in well to our team this year. But with a fair few Doveton Players (some that will prob be rubbed out after the weekends actions) I'd say he will have more of an impact next year.
We do have older senior players, just not many. All we had was Rob Dierickx (27), Rob Hughes (30), Andrew Hobday (30), Josh Taylor (26) and Marc Jolley (26). Our top five were all 22 or under, which means that there is an issue with our best players are coming from. It shouldnt be left solely to...
Just thought I'd highlight the ages of our better players for the year and even though we did fade away it was a good effort seeing we didnt really have any senior players.
Yeah you are right big dukes.. Bunyip has their presentation night tonite and a few names are expected to be dropped as to who is coming. Exactly what we need a couple of older experienced players to go with the young running team that is there already.
In other news... Surkin has agreed to a new contract which will see him jump on board the obese fuelled program of "supersize me" in ambition of puttin on 20kgs over the pre season. This will then mean he will not be able to continue wearing tight black pants that push his testies back into his...
Ben Souma won't be heading back to Garfield so there is no want for his old man to jump onto the board. There will be quite a few of their players return back to the club although I dont think the Allen boys will be part of those. It will be interesting to see what Easty does do because I do...
Can confirm there are a few in the pipeworks and quite a few of their better quality players. All goes back to that indescretion at the club a month or do ago. Very early talk, but could add that bit of experience missing from the team at the moment.
Yeah seen it on Friday night... Im not a massive fan of them either but its not overly bad... Its probably just more random than anything else... You would think a baseball bat would do more damage but thats just my thoughts...
I heard good old Joey has got off his five year ban... So now he is right to go back playing footy and i'm sure if he ever wants to play again it probably can't be in victoria..
