Great work on the lists haydo169!!
Been waitin on this for ages. Is there any chance you finished a GWS side as well. Wouldn't mind swapping them in occasionally.
Once again great work and thank you!!
whether it cost the game or not is a question we wont get an answer to. But something needs to happen in regards to rules being intererupted in different ways. I was at the game and was so angry but the end of the game that i was like many others blaming the result on the umpires. But as i sat...
yeah heard him say it shortly after i posted it, good to see Roy in, shame we have to deal with MacGill for another test, but i don't like bracken either, bring in a good non NSW bowler please!!!!!!
thats because not the whole side is talent, Hussey, Hodge, White, Warnie (obviously), and Moss to a lesser extent. If those first three never play a game for australia i'll be very shocked. of course we aren't the best side in aus. but the thing that has held us up is the dominance of these...
have to agree, katich would b the one who should go, a player who plays for himself and not the team, very arrogant yet still gets a game against a good all-round cricketer in hodge, not only is his batting class, but his fielding is awesome allong with a few handy offies. get him in!
News just to hand:
The Australian Cricket Board have announced the second test 12 to take on the West Indies in Hobart, leaving out local hero and Australian Captain Ricky Ponting, unless he commits to changing states to NSW at seasons end. The same message has been given to other exclusions...
Incredible looks like the next Shahid Afridi is playing in Sri Lanka, his fifty took just 12 balls, 7 sixes, and 1 four. took one over for 34 runs....
K Weeraratne
Martyn for sure, but also when the opening position came available Hussey should have joined Hayden at the top of the order, but JL has proved his guts there so he deserved to remain his spot. Mayb if Hus had of been included before katich was brought in, even 5 years ago. We wouldnt have this...
LOL wouldn't surpriss me at all. Would ******** me off tho. I've heard they're thinkin of renamin the Australian side for the next world cup in the Windies. No real surprisses here:
yes, hussey was more unlucky than Love, my point is that Hussey should have been there a hell of a long time before Love was even thought about, and im glad to see Hus there at last
It has to be the final game at the ground. Very emotional. Packed crowd seeing the might hawks floged the swans by 86 points i think. Just the last quarter gave me a tear, the hawk fans had begun to sing the song for most of the final quarter. I only went to two or three games at the ground...
thats gotta b one of the worst posts ever made. straight after they beat us in the Ashes, in one of the teams worst tours in the modern era.
In the 13 games we played against the Poms on that tour (of every form of the game):
we won 4.
lost 5
2 draws
1 tie.
1 no result.
and we all know...
yeah im with u on this one. i reacon he's ******** load better than alot of the current commentators anyway (not that that would be all that hard.) and ive heard a rumour that their trainin him to take over the great man richie when he calls it quits.
Mark Nichols asked Hussey the other day where he likes to bat, replying that he likes batting middle order in the onedayers, and openning in the longer form. But to my point i was goin to make, as i've said before i can't stand the way the selectors have ruined some state players chance of ever...
What are they doin? Taking all our players, at least they've got ******** taste (with the exception of Thomo) Hey why not clear off our hack players next trading while ur there!
Hay
Thompson
Rawlings
Picioane
mmm... all past their best. :D
shame bill doesn't even know the name of a player from a state that he loves so much. didn't realise that craig white was playing for victoria again!!! :D
the thing is regardless of how well they played, they shouldn't of boed. the world side have given up there time, sure they've been paid a bit but they came more for the enjoyment. I know its a bit of an exaggeration and people will say that they got boed cause they're quality players and...
The crowd levels were quite good under the circumstances, being a wednesday and fridays games, but with the third game over i was embarrased to hear the melbourne crowd boo every ICC World player when they received their medalions. It was disgraceful.
