Good to see your retraction YOTC, what changed your mind?

10 months on and he still cant get a game :p
Damn WA selectors

Lewis should replace Bracken after the Gabba test and should open with McGrath at the WACA.

OMG

Is the world about to end? :p
No, Mick Lewis bowled extremely well at the WACA, and followed it up in the ING cup games. Anyone who can control a ball like he did deserves to be in the team. Hardly any balls on the pads (glares at lee and tait) and the batsmen were always fiddling outside the off stump. McGrathesque.

Or maybe the WA batsmen were just ********.

And has a bit of mongrel in him too....very unlucky not to be in Bracken's position right now.

LOL wouldn't surpriss me at all. Would ******** me off tho. I've heard they're thinkin of renamin the Australian side for the next world cup in the Windies. No real surprisses here:
New South Wales play Scotland in each of the teams opening Group Matches on Wednesday the 14th of March 2007.

Every time i've seen Crosthwaite at district and state level he has kept extremely ordinarily...one of my mates played a season of district cricket with him and contantly told me he was overrated.

He doesn't look up to it at this stage and should be concentrating on holding his ing spot rather than playing for australia. The sooner Pilon gets the nod the better.
How do you see Victorian games if you follow NSW (I'm assuming you live there and havent updated your location)

To each his own, but that would be like me being racist towards Australians.

More Victorians hate the Victorian cricket team and its cricketer than people from other states hate them

I live in sunny Melbourne and was born in sunny Melbourne...

The hardest spot I believe is the keeper-batsman:

we have

Haddin- short-term option but has done it before
Croswaithe- Keeeping is good, batting is ordinary
Hartley- best young keeper we have seen for a while
Ronchi- Almost a certainty for the ODI'S but tests I am not sure
Clingelffer- very good keeper but inconsistent as a bastman, smokie in my opinion.

Why does everyone say Crosthwaites batting is ordinary?

And Ronchi must be good, he cant even get a game for his state :p

Crosthwaite has been very inconistent in his batting. Ronchi is in the Gilly model, very attacking batsman. That could be a smooth transition we will not know until a few years!

Wait untill he plays for his state first

Nearly as bad as Richie naming some NSW grade cricketer as a guaranteed Aussie test player in 2-3 years
