There was plenty of room, it wasn't squashed shoulder to shoulder or anything. I suppose yeah you'll want to get in early if you want to be at the front but from memory, it's tiered like steps so you can see over the top of those in front of you. To be honest, I don't remember too well as it was...
I'm a supporter Member and just got a standing ticket for anyone wondering how far off your ticket is, looks like they are processing the lowest tier memberships now.
I got a standing ticket at 2014 and got there a couple hours early... my legs and feet were so sore by the end of the game. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't be getting there too early haha
Yeah same, I got the text but no transaction yet. I'm just freakin im gonna miss out. I went to 2014 and I'm still needing redemption, as I think we all are!
Anyone been charged for a grand final ticket yet? I'm checking my account but still nothing missing. I'm a priority 3 (supporter member cause I live in SA) so I'm hoping I get a ticket!
I haven't played the demo yet, just waiting for the release next Thursday. I haven't spoken to anyone that's played it either. Has the pace been changed again? FIFA 15 Had everyone charging up the wings and scoring sweaty goals, FIFA 16 had Mertesacker easily catching players like Aubameyang...
As much as I'm looking forward to the game on Friday night, honestly can't wait... I have to move house on Friday as well. Stressful start to the weekend!
Also, I've had a look at the squad and their isn't a massive difference between the squad we used against Geelong and the squad used against the crows. We have a replacement for most of the players and some of the guys that did play (against Geelong) had very little influence on the game...
Last time Sydney played Geelong in round 16 and won by 38 points (and at Geelong's home ground), the cats had a bye in round 15 so they came into the game fresh in round 16 whereas Sydney had that tough game against the Doggies on Saturday and it was only a 6 day break till we played the cats on...
I'd happily be seated at the very top/back compared to my standing ticket for sure. Everyone who got seats, think yourselves lucky! ...but in saying that, I'm stoked to be going!
Yeah I think I'll try and get there early to secure a decent spot, I'm used to standing at the football (I go to a lot of games at adelaide oval and I normally stand there) but this crowd is going to be a lot more full on! Cheers for the insight though, appreciate it!
Has any one on here had standing tickets before at a grand final? What am i in for here? I'm just happy to be going but I'm only like 180cm so am I gonna have a hard time seeing?
If anyone's still unsure if they were successful in the ballot, head over to http://m.sydneyswans.com.au/news/2014-09-22/grand-final-ticketing-info and check your ticketek account number. (Sorry if this has been posted by any one else, don't have time to read the whole thread).
I've done the...
Just checked my account, $150 has been taken out! I really wasn't sure if I was gonna get a look in being a priority 3 supporter member in SA. Making the trip up with my girlfriend but I'll have to go to the game alone with 1 ticket. I'm just stoked to be going!
Unfortunately for me, I'm only a priority 3 member and the only swans supporter in my family. My girlfriend is a crows supporter but I've got her wearing a swans guernsey and scarf now at the games! I've followed the swans for about 10 years now since moving to Aus from England. I stepped it up...
