In the 2023 season the top 4 needed about 2100-2200 points, and 5-8 needed about 2000-2100.
We scored 1835 points.
So we went into the trade period needing to find about 30ish goals, which sure you could back a young team to find that many, but we left trade period and now need to find 60...
imo after goal music does nothing to create atmosphere. In fact it feels like the music has the opposite effect since people can't hear the crowd around them getting into it with the shitty remixes being blasted at max volume.
I said earlier in the season that Colyer was rubbish.
But in the last few games it looks like he has found a nice patch of form and is going a lot better now.
It does seem like finally a lot of the bad habits Lyon drilled into our players are starting to go away.
Wasn't that long ago nearly ever player on the list couldn't hit a 5 meter handball or execute a 15m chip kick.
Also that graph they showed of mundy's contribution after he turned 35 was insane.
You should play the games you own a whole bunch to figure out what style of game you enjoy, then revisit your list. You'll save a lot of money and space that way.
Steve Silvagni traded picks for Palmer.
Twice.
Edit: My bad it was the AFL that gave us end of 1st round compo for him. So maybe we should send him a box of choccies or something.
Shifting the goal posts much.
You ask for people to give examples of players coming back to coach their club, get those examples, buuuuut now they're not good enough because they aren't "successful" enough or they didn't occur during some arbitrary time frame.
It's like the Ross Lyon bad faith...
I didn't watch the presser but can you really outdo lyonball in terms of being a more contested team?
Ross's gameplan was quite literally ignore skills, bog it down and make every possession a contest.
I'd find it hard to believe a bloke who won a u18 championship and been out of the afl system for years can put together a better presentation than someone who has coached both teams of the 2018 grand final.
